If all you want to eat are wings, then I guess this place is "Excellent" (per all the reviews on their beer and wings [how hard is it to cook wings?]). If you want anything other than wings, then you will be very disappointed. Here is what my family of four ordered a few weeks ago (first time at the Plantation Landlubbers):

Lobster Roll: After asking the server twice, "Is it real lobster?", she finally stated, "It's Langostino Lobster." I don't care which way you slice it (or what the FDA says), but that is not true Lobster--just a 3-inch crustaceaous imposter. The "Lobster roll" (have to put it in quotes because it is no where near any Lobster roll we have ever eaten), was served on a flat roll and had about two tablespoons worth of minced Langostino salad on each side. At first I didn't understand why it was served on a flat roll, but after seeing the amount of filling that was in it, I fully understood: the amount that they gave us would have been lost on a regular, non-flat roll. It was a disgrace. I would die of embarrassment if this was my restaurant and I served that as a "Lobster Roll." Should be renamed as a Langostino salad on flat bread.

Fried Clams: I eat fried clams all the time--not very hard to mess up. The clams tasted like thick strips of cut rubber bands--I was literally gagging. I guess that's the reason the portion is so small, it would take five hours to fully chew them. Being a former server for many years I rarely send food back, but I could not eat them unless I was equipped with a set of T-Rex teeth. I sent them back and ordered potato skins--figured they couldn't mess that up too bad; they were fine.

Children's Cheeseburger Sliders: I told my daughter to stop complaining and eat them, "How bad can they be--stop being so picky and eat them!" I don't eat hamburgers so my husband tried one to see if there really was a problem with them. He said they were as dry as leather and had tiny hard pieces in them--thinking it was dried grizzle. I was already embarrassed for having sent the clams back, so I told my daughter that she didn't have to eat them and that we would take her to a fast-food drive-thru on the way home.

Steamed clams: Good, but I don't give them much credit for throwing some clams in a pot of steaming water.

The most entertaining part of our entire meal was when the server presented us with the check and obliviously asked us if we would like a loyalty card to Landlubbers. Really?!?! One of the worst meals we have had in years.

Although this place has a pretty good menu, from chicken wings to seared Tuna, make sure you pay cash!!!! I have been frequenting the watering hole for many years now, six to be exact, I have was over charged on my credit card bill, they added more tip!!!! The first time this happen I did not even know it until I was over charged by $10 dollars and went back checking all my credit card statements. I stopped by and brought this to the attention of Alex the manager, to my amazement, he just told me to challenge it with my CC company.. I explained this had happened before, all were with the same waitress, Pam. My comments fell on deaf ears!!! This place is a nice bar and grill but they seem to have a lot of trouble with the waitress staff. I usually sit at the bar if I go now, Christy is a wonderful bartender and has never treated me wrong....

although the food is consistent and of quality, the bar staff can be narcissistic and at worst rude and judgmental. my advise to all is, don't become a regular guest and you wont be subject to the staff's pretense! oh, and dont forget the fact that THE RAIDER NATION NFL fan club is also home to landlubbers of plantation! GASP!!!

Even though we go for the chicken wings here. The Lobster Bisque is one of a kind. There are TV's everywhere for everyone's enjoyment. They also have a handful of arcade games to let the kids enjoy. It's extremely family friendly. Your kid will not be the loudest there. Definetly go for the food. They have specials weekly. Have a sit in on the "all you can eat" crab legs. YUMMY. Prices are good too.

Great place for the whole family. Extensive Menu, good to please everyone, but the best is the personal attention and service from all of their employees.

l am at Landlubber's a few times a week because I love the chicken wings so much. During happy hour (every day from 3-6 and 10 pm-2 am) there are great drink specials (well drinks for $2.15, beers for $1) and food specials. My favorite thing to order here are chicken wings in raspberry sauce (make sure you ask for them hot! They're not super spicy but the sauce is too thick if you don't order it hot). They also have great burgers and the ribs are amazing as well. This is the sort of place where you can come and sit at the bar and watch the game (there are flat screen TVs everywhere and they only show sports) or you can come with the entire family for dinner. They have different specials every night and I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here. I highly recommend it.
