Creative Child Learning Center - Weston

★★★☆☆
The Creative Child Learning Centers are designed to meet the emotional, social, physical and intellectual needs of children in a safe, home-like and loving environment. The unique characteristics of each individual child are valued, and a well-trained and talented staff nurtures each child's interests and developmental advances. We believe childhood should be a time of joy, love and adventure. At the Creative Child Learning Centers , children are appreciated for their diversity, their challenges, their successes and their tremendous potential. Our child caring philosophy is based on flexibility and choice for the children. We accommodate the developmental stages of each child. We strive to create an environment that is a home away from home for children and parents. Our staff carefully follows parents' instructions when feeding and diapering. Communication with families is a top priority and daily communication opportunities are available via written notes and face-to-face conversations. Our goal is for staff and parents to serve as a team to help each child's day go smoothly. Parents are always welcome to stop by while their child is at the center. We recognize that the most critical years for children's emotional, social and intellectual development are birth through 5 years old. Children require feeling loved, secure and accepted as they begin their education. Our approach to child care is based upon the belief that it is during these critical years that children discover their unique qualities and begin to develop their sense of self-worth. The goal of the collective Creative Child community is to create trust, joyful memories, special friendships, a sense of curiosity and a life-long love of learning in each and every child.

Horrible school. My child was at the school from 8 am till 5:30 pm. I packed his lunch in the second zipper of his lunch box. When we got home his lunch was untouched exactly where i put it. All his teachers gave him to eat were crackers

This is by far the worst run business I have ever experienced. The owners are tyrants and treat their valued employees beyond terribly. My family and I loved the teachers at this school, they were always sweet and my child learned so much while in their care.

As I got to know the teacher in my child's classroom I was disgusted to learn that the owners of this place only pay college educated teachers minimum wage.

Additionally, they require the teachers to work unpaid overtime regularly and do not allow nursing employees a place to pump for their children.

The kicker was that when my family moved over 40 miles away from the school we decided to offer our child's teacher a job to nanny for our children. The owners of CCLC tried to sue my family and this teacher because we wanted to pay her more to be our nanny. They alleged we wanted "steal" this teacher from them!!! This place is crazy, the owner Brian should be ashamed of himself and his business. If you want to line this guy's pocket at the expense of the people who are actually teaching your children, have at it. DONT GO HERE!

So far, I've had a fantastic experience with CCLC in Weston, FL. The teachers in the infant room, particularly Miss Loly and Miss Ellie, are fantastic with babies. My son is always grinning when my husband drops him off in the AM, and always smiling when I pick him up. I constantly check him on the cameras, and drop by at different times to make sure everything is ok, and so far, they are always compliant with everything and playing, singing, or putting the babies to sleep as any mother would. Every time he's been sick, they have caught on immediately and call me at the first symptom/sign of fever. As a new parent, the teachers have offered advice on feeding habits and overall care that have been very helpful to me. I would trust those ladies with my life!
By the way...my son is Hispanic, and has never been discriminated against (I believe I saw someone's post regarding discrimination against minorities). In fact, my son is so loved, I wouldn't have him anywhere else. And yes, some speak Spanish, but others English, so I appreciate the fact he will probably grow up bilingual - at this point, language comes last...love and care ALWAYS comes first.

They dropped my son on his head. The owners Brian Ager and his wife did not even apologize. My son was hospitalized for one night. Dangerous school...rooms are too small...student to teacher ratio is too small.

This school appears clean, but my sister worked here and quit because of the unsanitary precautions. Plus the sanbox is always filthy. I would not send my worst enemy;s child here!!!!

This school is amazing. The teachers and staff are always willing to help and go the extra mile for the parents and the childeren, contrary to what the review below says the sand is cleaned by the staff daily and the teachers speak english just fine, the person below was obviousily to much of busy body to mind their own business when they werent speaking to them. And the director Sarah Edwards is very friendly and very respectful to the parents, she is always available when their are concerns that are needed to be met. Every time that I have gone to pick my child up they are clean and in a happy mood which as a parents is something i love to see, and my child loves their teachers and they are so poliet and willing to help me when i have concerns about their development and i have no problems understanding their english what so ever!

DO NOT send your infants or children to this school. The teachers barely speak English, the Director, Sara Edwards, is disrespectful to the parents when they have concerns. My 7 month old son was dropped on his head and had his finger stepped on the second day he was here. This was a nightmare experience for my entire family and I hated to have my son go through the trauma he went through in just 2 days. Like the previous poster said...the sand is always dirty, and the teachers do not speak English and most do not seem qualified to work with kids. I speak Spanish, but they did not know I did because I have blonde hair, blue eyes, and I could here them constantly complaining about how much they hate working there.

This school is dirty. The sand is filthy. The staff does not speak English well at all. So if your child is a typical American kid his grammar will deteriorate. The teachers are biased to the Hispanic kids and their families. They are constantly chosen as student of the week. The teachers speak Spanish to each other in front of you and you do not what they are talking about. The curriculum is NOT challenging and filled with low level busy work. This is a Hispanic daycare...not a competitive preschool preparing for excellence. Look elsewhere!!

This is a top notch daycare. The teachers are very caring. They give each child indivdual attetion. They have cameras in each classroom so you could watch from your own computer. They are all very outstanding and is well worth the cost.
