I visited Mechanics Plus in November 2009 after my 2003 Toyota Corolla lost its A/C. I'd read all the positive reviews about the place online, and I was just ready to leave the ridiculous hustle with shady mechanics I often dealt with. Bill, the manager, immediately greeted me kindly and talked me through how my car would be diagnosed and repaired. I was able to talk honestly with Bill about my personal feelings about mechanics with ulterior motives and how much I appreciated his business philosophy of "relationship first, business second." I also felt absolutely comfortable knowing a little bit about the mechanics in the shop. Diagnosis was done within 20 minutes or so (even though I didn't have an appointment), which was the relay in the fuse box, and the repair was done with an hour of my arrival. Not only will I stay with Mechanics Plus for my car maintenance from now on, but I'll also recommend them to my friends who need a reliable and trustworthy mechanic in their lives. If you ever go there, be sure to ask Bill about his ongoing effort to educate customers about the repairs our cars are diagnosed with and how to avoid the shady mechanics through online resources.

I live with the Golden Rule as my guide and love my customers and our employees more than my profit. I respectfuly welcome you to take a look at my P & L's and tell me where I should cut yet still maintaining our business and its employees into the next decade. My labor rate is $20.00 per hour lower than 90% of the other shops on 436.

I found the owner to be quite a salesman and just a bit arrogant for my taste.

Also the parts used on my vehicle were from the local Discount Auto and Mechanics Plus charged me double.
