I went to get one tire on Sunday February 11th after calling and beung told there was about a two hour wait. I arrived 10 minutes after I called and was told they were not doing anymore tires. I explained to the manager on duty (Terry lee) that iI had called and was told there was a 2 hour wait so I drove up there. She was very helpful and said they would go ahead a accept me but there was a two hour wait. I waited 4 hours to have a 15 minute job done. The two employees working hung out talking in between each job. They were in no hurry to do anything. I spoke to the store manager and told him I was told there was a 2 hour wait 3 hours ago. He shrugged and walked off.
The cashiers are so rude they're nearing down right mean. Racism runs wild; one minute the customer service cashier is chatting away in spanish to the customer a head of me even after the transaction is completed (and there by holding up the line) and the next moment she's telling me that there's nothing she can do for me...funny, once the (white) manager on duty was called to the service desk I was out of there in two minutes with my problem resolved. The same senario has happened twice before as well; the cashier flat-out refuses to take a coupon or check their sale paper for the correct price but when I insisted that a manager be called, the manager has always taken care of the problem in under 2 minutes. Completely unacceptable.
I will be honest: I hate Wal-Mart and I give can give you a whole essay on why. This store bears out everything that I can't stand about the world's largest retailer. The store is a mess. It is difficult to find items and merchandise is strewn all over the shelves and the aisles. The cashiers are grumpy, or worse, sullen and silent. Even the customers are rude. During Christmas season, when carts were scarce, two teenage girls ran away with my cart full of merchandise! Even the parking lot is a hazard, with carts and trash littering the spaces. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! You have been warned!
