I LOVE them, Not only are they really good at what they do, they are very honest! They take their time explaining everything and their prices are the best in town!

I have found that Newmans Auto Air is more than fair. They do QUALITY WORK and THEIR PRICES ARE FAR BELOW all the other shops I have used in the past. They work very hard to satisfy their customers and I am more than pleased with their service. Before taking your vehicle to any other shop, I suggest that you check with Rodney Newman for EXCELLENT SERVICE, service that you will be pleased with.

I had Timing Belt and water pump service done 2 weeks ago for my Honda accord 1999 model. They did an EXCELLENT Job and the price is very competitive and Randy Jr. is very polite in answering stupid question and very friendly. I enquired couple of Place for the service to be done. What I feel is the price is very much low and the additional services you get at free of cost (They dont charge).

As far as my experience is concerned, I had AC work done by them, after a few months cold air was out, they checked it out and got it back in, didn't charge me. Another time, an AC part broke, honest as they were, they replaced it-no charge. On some minor adjustments or freon, they don't take advantage on the customers, instead, they did not charge to fill it in. On a different issue, a mechanical job they did for me was a lot less expensive than what it would have been outside. They are courteous to their customers and take time to listen, especially Rodney and his father, which to me is another factor other than just fixing the car. I will stay with them.

Took my car into Newman's because the a/c was not cooling properly, it was cool but not cold especially in 100+ weather. Was diagnosed as being a A/C expansion valve took it in the next day and had it changed out. When I got there to pick up the car the a/c was still not cooling properly and there was grease on my dash, which I was not happy about. Took it back the next day and they had to order the "OEM" Honda expansion valve. They installed it and it worked perfect. I did not get charged any more money...They also give you a year warranty on the work. So I am happy. I rate this experience 3.5 STARS>>>

I've had them do a number of different things to our family vehicles without incident, until recently. They've replaced electric window motors, done complete brake jobs, fixed minor electrical problems, repaired the AC, and subbed-out some suspension issues to a reputable shop. Recently, we had an AC issue in a SUV -- front vents were blowing warm air, while the rear vents were blowing ice cold air (keep in mind that ALL of the cold air in an auto AC unit comes from one compressor). They "diagnosed" the problem as a "AC hose," replaced it to the tune of $400+, only to have the front AC still blowing warm air. Upon re-examination, they determined that it was a fresh air intake door for the front AC air mixture that was sticking open, and letting in too much fresh (read "hot") air. They ordered the new box and installed it without charge, and without question. They did not say, "I'm sorry, we made a mistake, and replaced something that wasn't broken." I would have preferred that they lay all of the cards on the table. They know they made a mistake... I know they made a mistake... I just would have preferred to hear the words. I trust them, nonetheless, and will continue to do business with them.

PROS: fair priced work, generally dependable
CONS: sometimes they get it wrong

My family has been using Newman's for our auto air maintenence and repair for years. The service is usually top notch, and they give us the best quote in town. So when my car broke down right around the corner from their shop, I thought nothing of having them look at it. Unfortunately it was a problem that required several days of engine work. They kept calling me to come up and get my car, but it wasn't finished. Even when I picked it up the mechanic was still working on it. When I got the car they had neglected to reattatch the air filter hose, and properly bolt the engine cover back on. Obviously they did not preform a test drive or idle, because I noticed the air filter immediately from the sound of the improperly aspirated engine. While the air hose is not very serious and immediately noticeable, the latter could have resulted in serious damage and further repair costs. Since then, I am not trusting any of my cars with them, even for AC.

I got an accurate estimate in a very timely fashion. And when it came time to do the work they were very professional and made my time without a car as painless and as short as possible. They let me drop off and pick up after hours and just pay by credit card. Great location too.
