Installed our backflow...our landscaper had to repair it due to large leak...pipes were connected copper to pvc, with no adhesive or tape to seal it. Shabby work...they've gotten too big, too sloppy, and they just don't care.

Received flyer in the mail that Alverez would inspect backflow. Just fax inspection paperwork and they would take care of it and bill me $75.00. I immediately faxed over my request. I followed up about a month later and they said they would do it right away. Followed up with Hillsborough County a month later and it still had not been done. Don't promise me to do something and then blow me off! Plus they were going to charge me way too much.. Needless to say, I cancelled with them and was able to get another company. They were out in two days and charged $29.00.

These fella's are top notch and by far the best plumbing company in the area. I have been in Tampa for nearly 30 years and they have a great service. I read the reviews below,sounds like those guys need to get an exterminator and a life. The ants and bugs come from OUTSIDE your home not from the plumbers and the guy expecting people to work for free, get over it you live in Florida, noone works for free in case you haven't noticed. You can't please everyone all the time, But I will recommend Alvarez Plumbing to all of my neighbors and friends. Great Job fellas.

I called Alvarez Plumbing and they sent out a plumber the same day. They were courteous, fixed my plumbing problem and their charges were reasonable. I would use again and recommend to others.

Scheduled a Saturday appointment over the phone 3 days in advance. I was quoted an hourly rate of $85 and informed of the $40 weekend fee. I agreed and set up the appointment. Once they showed up, I was presented paperwork for $117 per hour and informed billing would actually start 45 minutes earlier because they were lost finding my residence. When I questioned the increased hourly rate, the first excuse was they had 2 people on the job. Next I was told from the dispatcher it was the weekend rate. Either way, it was more than I was quoted when setting up the appointment. I asked them to leave. If you can't trust the quote, you can't trust the work. However, they did wear shoe covers on my wood floors.

they did a good job and very fast but they did not finish it. i called to see if they would and it would up to a week to fill the hole in the my wall. bugs and ants were coming in.
