Shear Madness Hair Studio

Finding a great salon and stylist is sooooo hard to do sometimes. Shear Madness makes that easy. The whole staff is great at what they do and the salon is so comfortable. Venus did my hair which was in need of help...and I feel like a new person. Can't wait to see you all again. Thanks for such a great experience.

Ok so in the past 3 years i've gone to several places who have just butchered my hair causing me to wear it up or at least half up ALL THE TIME. And each time my co-worker kept telling me "you gotta go to my girl tonya". I'm a 21 year old struggling college student working full time lookin at my co-workers hair thinkin I CANT AFFORD THAT, not to mention i live in Winterpark/Oviedo area!!!!!

I could have never been more wrong.

I gave in. About 9 of my coworkers have gone to her and looked amazing so I really just needed to do this i was so over my hair. So i went there, the saloon itself was coozy everyone was so sweet, very comfortable atmosphere. Tonya is amazing i told her my story and she pointed out that my part wasn't straight at all and that's where all the other stylist i went to went wrong. Well I went in with a vision with what i wanted my hair to look like said about 2 words and she just did it! I was shampooed, conditioned, cut, blown dry and had my hair straightened all within 40 minutes! And at a cheaper cost than what i was payin Regis Saloon. I love my haircut just love it!! So go!! ... ask for tonya :)

This group is FABULOUS!!!! I walked in and some of the girls were talking and laughing with eachother and with the clients. They brought me right into the conversation and instantly I felt right at home!
I got my hair cut and highlighted by Roe, and when I was finished Michelle, the salon owner and makeup artist hooked me up! She gave me a makeover that made me look 10 years younger! I swear!!! She used an airbrush machine that works miracles, and all mineral makeup. I have fallen in LOVE with this place.

I went in as a new client. I moved to Florida two years ago and have had horrible haircut after horrible haircut, from expensive salons. Determined to get my pre Florida hair back, I gave Shear Madness a try. Lisa cut my hair and let me tell you, she did a fantastic job...the BEST haircut I have had in two years! I was able to tell her what I didn't like and she actually understood me and knew exactly what to do to fix the problem. I already feel my hair coming back to life and I can not wait to go back and see Lisa again. The salon is very clean and trendy...I highly recommend this place!

SO how good does it feel, after flailing around from one mediocre stylist to another to FINALLY go somewhere and get a GREAT haircut??!!! Well I'll tell you -- it feels about as good as it felt walking out of Shear Madness today with that "I know I look good" look on my face! For starters, Shear Madness is cute. The front of the salon also serves as a little boutique so you can do some shopping while you wait for your fabulous new do. The stylists are all friendly and welcoming, and it turns out they've been together for about nineteen years in one salon or another. More importantly, these stylists know how to cut hair!!! Roe, my new hero, took one look at the picture I brought in, and my head, and knew exactly what to do. Not only was she fast and flawless, but she also took the time while she was styling me to explain what she was doing, and show me how to do it myself. I cannot stress enough what a fantastic experience this was. If you are looking for a new salon, and still haven't found the right place, YOU MUST COME HERE!!!! Believe me. I've had more than a few cuts in my life and this one was in the top 3, no question. Make an appointment today. YOU WILL BE THE HAPPIEST BROAD ON THE BLOCK!!!!!
