Rex Art Supplies & Custom

I went in to get a quote and was so pleased I decided to do the job. The selection is huge but the woman that helped me was able to find frames that were perfectly suited for my tastes.
I will return and recommend them to my friends!

Just another rave for Rex. Not only is the staff the most knowledgeable, not only is it an institution (my first visit to Rex was probably in 1971), but supporting small local businesses is always good karma. They may not have the inventory of some places, but they do have ALL of the worthwhile stuff -- They will have what you need, plus they will give you two tips on how to use it that will make your outcome a happy one. I have not used them for framing, but will give them a try soonest.

I agree, this is an art store on the "smaller side" but for what they lack in size they make up for in personality! Kind of like a small town art center. Has what we need for our daughter's school art projects and assorted arts and crafts. Prices are good also, and staff knowledgeable and friendly. Will definately be back soon. :)

Small store for art supplies. The staff is kind and helpful. Due to the size of the store there is only so much they can stock. So beware that you might not find anything out of the ordinary. I think anyone that has lived in Coral Gables for any amount of time has bought something at Rex. They have a great little bin by the cashier with cool artsy postcards for a nickel. I always end up with a million postcards. I mean for a nickel?!!! how can you not buy handfuls of them. They are a staple in the community and will hopefully be around forever.
