Had my 120 gal tank (from another Gainesville company)switched out by Tru Gas. They came out as promised, moved the other tank, placed theirs, hooked it up and tested all the appliances in the house to make sure everything worked allright. Then they called to get a credit card over the phone for the charges: $150 for 100 gals. of propane! Can't beat that! The other company was charging me over $4 per gallon! That's why I switched. Of course the price for the first tank is lower than normal, but the subsequent price is also going to be lower--$3.69/gal. Their tank rental is less than half the price too and isn't charged for the first year. Overall, at this point in time...I'm happy!

Ordered gas twice, once on Thursday which was "forgotten." The next day, I requested the last stop as I had to work, at 3:45, upon arriving home from work, I found a Tru Gas tag, "sorry we missed you." The weather was expected to freeze over the weekend, so I thought it was unusual that the "last stop" on a Friday before a freeze was at 3:45. I realize that one is supposed to request gas before hand, however single moms on fixed incomes do not have that luxury. I was a cash paying customer upon receipt. I'm very disappointed in this company, and do not understand the lack of "English language" the so called dispatchers have.
