STAY AWAY!! Just came back from Pizzalley's and I will NEVER go back! First I ordered 3 cheese slices. What happened next was completed unacceptable! I had to wait over 20 minutes (takeout) for my slices! Outside my 2 year old was having a fit. Luckely, someone was giving out free samples, so my daughter took a few pieces. After 15 minutes my 2 year old wanted more b/c her pizza was still not out yet and the girl told my 2 year old she was not allowed any more. This then gets better....after 20 minutes of waiting for this pizza, I open the box and half the slice is MISSING!!! They gave me half a slice! This is unacceptable! I would stay away! Go across the way and eat at the Brooklyn pizza place!

Love this place. Everything I've ever had at this establishment has been great. Wonderful , hospitable.

I am a dog lover to (to prior poster) and would never consider asking a restaurant, indoor OR outdoor, to welcome my dog at it's establishment. They have far more patrons to consider than you. In my opinion you were quite inconsiderate expecting this.
That's just me.

After two people in one week told me the best pizza they ever ate was at Pizzalley in St. Aug. I decided to head down and try it - THEY WERE RIGHT!! What great pizza - I have not had any that good in Jacksonville!

We visit St. Augustine frequently and loved eating at Pizzalley's on their outside deck with our little dog. Unfortunately, the last two times we were in town, they told us that we couldn't have our dog there - on the outside deck. Subsequently, we found another pizza spot on King St. called Flavors that has fabulous pizza AND graciously welcomes our little hairy family member. Being a dog lover, I'll go out of my way to support a business that allows dogs. I'm surprised when a restaurant has outdoor seating yet doesn't allow dogs. That's just me.

I'm from Brooklyn and I know good pizza. This is awesome pizza. I'm a big guy and I love pizza so If you want Brooklyn style pizza in the south then go to Pizz-alleys. The restaurant is gigantic! It goes on forever and the service is excellent. The outside chairs are plastic and small for me so I ate inside.
GOOD FOOD! I LOVE ST. AUGUSTINE!

Every time my fiance and I go to St. Augustine, we eat at Pizzalleys. Even when we do not plan to, there is someone outside offering samples, and as soon as we taste it we change our minds and eat there anyways. It is really good food, but it is also a great atmosphere. I recommend eating there after dark in the back, outside. There are beautiful lights, and it is very romantic.

When I worked downtown, Pizzalley's was the place to go for food. They offer a large assortment of not just pizzas, but sandwiches and their fries were good too. :)

If you go to Pizzalley's, I also recommend trying out the breadsticks. Those could be a meal in themselves! The tortellini is pretty good too.

If you're in the mood for casual dining with friends or family, you can hit the pizza parlor in the front half; if you're looking for a more romantic dinner, they also have the "Chianti Room" in the back with a great setting and full service. Both halves of the restaurant offer good service and excellent food.

We've only experienced the Chianti Room once, but the Margherita Pizza was great; a little pricey but worth it, very fresh and flavorful.

This is one of the best restaurants in the downtown area, and for sure one that the locals all know and love. :)
