My eldest girl went to VPK. Very good time.
She was in a small group and learnt very quick.
And it was very important for me, she wanted to go!!!!!
after 4 months I put my baby boy there and he is happy too.
now I can work happy. my children are OK

very good place

I knew what people said about this center but I luckily decided to give them a chance.
The place had changed!!!!!
No bugs, lot of smiles and my kid is really happy. About meals, they are really good!
People change, and so do centers!

I applied for a job with this center, the day that I went to observe everything seemed fine, I did notice a few things that were out of the ordinary since I had previously worked in a daycare facility previously, but decided to give it a try. The day I was started working I lasted no more than five hours. My very first day I was left alone with 11 one year old(way over ratio). I didn't know any-ones name, so how am I supposed to change diapers and things like that?? The place is roach infested, even the kids try to kill them with their shoes. No window in the classroom, children are left alone, lunch that day was black rice with beans, a piece of bread and a child size handfull of fruit/veggies, wheres the meat??? They're given milk in sippy cups that are obviously shared by everyone and are cracked at the mouthpiece. No space for the children to play. I did observe another employee hit and pull a childs hair. I couldn't be apart of a center that had so many violations and even less bring my own child there. Parents they do have very low rates, but is it worth your childs health and safety??

My child attended this school during 4 months. That have been the worst decision I have made concerning him. I was't working at the moment and this was my home's nearest center . In his classroom they had around 30 children with just one teacher. They don't have enough materials, even the basics like glue or crayons. The place is dirty and full of cockroaches. My child was always sad and he even catch scarlet fever in that place. Somebody recommend another center (Park Lake Presbyterian) and even though was very far from my home it was so worth it. Recently I started working in a childcare and befriend some ex-teachers from Growin' Preschool; their stories are nightmares to any parent, from lack of hygiene to child abuse. I just can say that the place is worse than I thought. I don't understand how this place is still open.

PROS: none
CONS: Everything about this place is a con.
