I contacted this dealership about a 2011 KIa Optima that they had for sale. They contacted me back and said that the car is still available. I then was very interested in this vehicle and I was started the financing process for this car. I borrowed my friends car and I drove 45 minutes to make sure that I wanted this car. I really liked the car so they told me to put a down payment on it for them to hold it, so I did. I put a $500 down payment on the car for them to hold it for me while the financing was being done. They even asked for my old license plate number on my previous car. After that it took a few more days to finish up all the financing. I kept in touch with them more than twice each day. The financing was complete and I was ready to pick up my car. But then the salesperson said that the car was gone, they sold it. I put a down payment on this car and I have been driving and making calls to get them all the documents that they needed and it was all for nothing. They didn't even care that they sold it. They dont care about their customers, How could this happen? It has been over a week now and I am still careless because this careless. They dont care about their customers at all, all they care about is making money. I emailed the manager and he just completely ignores me.

I am so sick and tired of car dealers that try the old bait and switch routine. First they quote you a price on a car of a certain model that is not even on the inventory and when you get to the dealership they switch to a more expensive vehicle with equiptment that you do not really need. They want your old car for trade but give nothing for that car and want a downpayment on top of that. Then the the supposed America brand that is built in Mexico or some other 3rd world country. But the sell it for the same price as if it was built with UAW labor.

Heritage Ford outranks any dealer for customer service!!! After purchasing 9 vehicles and servicing my vehicles at Heritage I would say that I am a loyal customer. No need to search elsewhere for sales and service, go to Heritage Ford in Wesley Chapel.

A few days before getting ready to leave on vacation, I started experiencing a problem with my automatica transmission in first and reverse. I suspected it was low pressure because of the high rpm shift points that was occuring. So I took it to the Ford dealer to get a quote of what it would cost to have it repaired..

I was told the diagnostic fee would be 89.95. I asked for that fee would I be told specifically what was wrong and how much it would cost to make the specific repair. I was told "yes, and the fee would be applied towards the repair".

What I actually got for my $89.95 was told something I already knew. I had low pressure in first and reverse.

I expected them to tell me the low pressure problem low pressure was a result of worn valves and they would have to ream the valve body and put in over sized valves or somthing similar. Instead what I was told, I had low pressure in first and reverse and they quoted me for a transmission replacement.

So I essentually paid 89.95 for the privilage of allowing them to quote me a transmission replacement. Oh and as far as the applyinging the 89.95 to the cost of tranny replacement? Didn't happen because they told be from the time I gave them permission to replace the tranny to the time I would actually get the truck back would be at least 10 days. That was unacceptable because I was 3 days away from leaving on vacation.

So I found a local transmission shop that was able to R&R my tranny in a single day with a completely rebuilt unit with the same warranty as the dealer's new unit for a significant savings.

I have had other issues with this dealership, some resolved some unresolved.

On a side note... I have bought 6 cars in the last 8 years and each time I allowd them an opportunity to sell me one and more then once it ended in rudeness by the sales manager.

Bottom line... I won't buy a car from them, and I will no longer allow them to service any of my vehicles...even if I have to drive 30 miles to another dealership.

My fiend talked me into taking my car to Ford dealership since ??they know what they are doing?. After spending money to have my car towed and after $90+ tax diagnostic test I am told the repair will be around $1,000. Of course, diagnostic test is a separate charge! My whole car cost $1,500 according to the Kelly Blue Book!? I tried to negotiate asking to make my car ??runnable? at the lower cost since I don??t have that much money to spend. (Obviously I would buy a new car if I had) After shopping around I found the shop that fixed my car for $375. Oh, and by the way, after I refused the service and told them that I found a better price, Ford offered to match it. No, thanks!!! Never again!
