Do yourself a great service and call someone else. This company is not making any friends here in central Florida. There are numerous complaints and lawsuits. They got 100 bucks of my money, that I would not have paid them if I had known better, for doing nothing.

I had Pat the Plumber install my solar water system, radiant barrier and my solar attic fans. We are very pleased with the installation and the effectiveness of everything. We have saved over 50% off of our electric bill-The only concern that i have is that I should have done it sooner!!!
Thanks

I just had a new Solar Hot Water Sytem installed along with a comfort pump and have to say that in the land of scam in florida-Pat the plumber stands out above and beyond the competition-he may charge a little more than most but you get what you pay for- The tech was very professional, friendly, and even smelled good...My hats off to Pat the plumber and the good work and the incredible savings i have enjoyed. highly recommend-

Recently had Pat the Plumber put on a Solar Hot Water System- The install went great -I am pleased with the professionals that installed it and they delivered much more than I could have asked for-
They may not be the least expensive but YOU DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!

I must say that I just had Pat the Plumber do some work at my home and was very impressed with the company as a whole. For one thing I got a real live person on the phone after 5:00pm who was polite and informative. They sent Shawn over within an hour and he was great! He drove a clean truck, had a neat appearance (actually wore a uniform and shoe covers) and cleaned up the mess that my pipe leaking in the wall had made. He fixed my problem and was on his way in 2 hours. I thought the service was worth the price. This is the most professional plumber I have ever dealt with and he really put my concerns at ease. I will never use another plumbing company and will recommend them to everyone I know.

I would not recommend this company. They were quick to respond but that is about all. They are pricey and service poor. I had to have 30 feet of drain pipe replaced and they completed this on 2/10. Herman, the plumber, told me they could not finish job until Inspector gave the okay, but that he would call me to let me know the status. Today is 2/18 and after calling there customer service rep I am told that I have to 'schedule' an appointment to have Herman call me to tell me when work will be completed.

I hired this company to remodel my bathroom and they did a BEAUTIFUL job! They helped me select tile and fixtures and delivered on everything they had promised. I was amazed at how quickly the work was completed. They certainly were not the cheapest quote I received but you do get what you pay for with this company. Excellent customer service and wonderfully professional and polite employees. I couldn't believe that every guy they sent out was so polite and cleaned up after themselves. I don't know where they find their employees or where they train them but I would highly recommend that you call this company for a pleasant experience!

During my home inspection in May 08 we found the 6 year old water heater to have a tripped circuit. The Inspector told me if this happened again we may have a problem. 2 weeks after moving in the water heater had tripped about 10 times. I called several plumbers and Pats had the best ETA and service call price. While the Tech looked at the heater I asked what may cause this type of trouble. He replied could be the sensor, thermostat or that simply the lower tank was turned to a higher temp than the upper tank. I stuck my head in and noticed that yes, in fact the lower tank was set higher, and then turned it 10 degrees lower than the top tank. He still suggested I replace the thermostat at a charge of $289 and that it could be completed w/ in 20 minutes. Needless to say, I passed and now 8 months later the water heater has not tripped again.

May 14th contacted Pat's and service man (Herman) came out for installation of new shower faucet but could not do work as he would need to cut tile and install access panel (did not have a brushed nickel) and it would have to be ordered.
Long story short on Wednesday July 9th I canceled the order after I had to make 6 phone calls from May till July to find out what was going on with the order. They contacted me once to try and talk me out of the brushed nickel and install a stainless steel plate. I was told by John that I would get refund of $200.00 in about a week or two. It's been ove a month and nothing and no contact from them!
Let the buyer beware!!

My gas water heater (40 gallon; $296) was bought from Home Depot. After knowing Gator Plumbing Improvement needed three trips to finish the work and Home Depot won't install gas water heater in Gainesville, I contacted Pat the Plumber. Pat the Plumber was willing to install my gas heater in one visit. My appointment was 2 PM, but the plumber arrived at 5 PM. The work was finished at 7:30 PM on the same day. The estimate of installation was given before the work began (level five: highest level $454) and the service call fee ($59) was luckily waived. The standard of estimation was somewhat subjective and ambiguous based on the location of the heater and the space of the utility room. Mine is at the 2nd floor and in a narrow room. In addition, if I didn't help to move the heaters, I would be charged $175 more. The fee of their work is based on the level of difficulty, not time of work, so you don't have to worry about slack/slow work. This company provides good quality of work if money is not a big issue.
