Hughes Teena Md

Every time I go, the wait time is anywhere from an hour to 3 hours. And thats with only 2 people ahead of me. The waiting room is very tiny and barely any room to walk around. The rooms and floor are absolutley DISGUSTING! The staff are VERY rude and inconsiderate. Yes, Dr. Hughes is friendly, but she and the other doctor in the office, have mis-diagnosed my daughter three times. And every time, I'm in there, it seems Dr. Hughes is in a rush to see my daughter and get out. I'm absolutley fed up with this office. It's the worst office I've seen/been too. i would not recommend this office to even my enemy.

I take my son to dr hughes and he loves her. When we moved her 3 yrs ago, it took alot of searching to find just the right dr. My son has adhd, so I wanted one that was very knowledgeable on this and one that truely cared for the children they treated and she is one who does just this. He is never just a name to her he is a person and he really loves her. Her staff are excellent as well. If you are looking for an excellent dr for your child she is the one to go to.

PROS: She truely cares for the child, takes the time to get to know them
CONS:

I take both my girls to Dr. Hughes, and from day one, she has been patient, answered all my questions, and allows me to do what's best for my children. She doesn't push drugs and always takes her time, listens, and the wait time is very little.

Even in the hospital after my babies were born, she was always there, smiling, friendly, and answering all questions. Do your homework, and feel free to discuss issues with her.

I have ALWAYS been able to get in the same day when my child is sick. They also have a healthy room, and their staff is friendly and the same people at every visit. It's a small, family-oriented, family-friendly office without all the bells and whistles.

She took my call one night when my daughter had croup, and made me at ease when she talked about how her son had turned blue. She's a mom of 4 boys and knows her stuff, and obviously loves her job.

If you are looking for a good general pediatrician the Teena Hughes is the best. All of my friends have changed to use her for their doctor. She is a very educated and informative. You also will get in and out in a hurry and not wait all day to see the doctor.
