Tampa is not well known for great restaurants.There are many Indian restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. The best is Taj, due to its great decor and good food

Go here for their buffet lunch and get a nice selection of Indian favorites. Fresh and vibrant flavors- you will find something you love. Good value and quick service- great place for newbies to this cuisine.

Taj is probably the best indian restaurant in Tampa itself.The food is prepared fresh and the menu has a pretty good variety. The food is a little pricey but most indian restaurants are now a days. The plus's are that the restaurant is always clean and the service is actually more americanized and friendly.

really well prepared north indian style food. especially the lunch buffet is very good. at a decent price, you get a large variety of dishes to try, along with some really sweet desserts
