Kids In Motion

My younger daughter (5) liked it very much, the jumping and moving to other rooms when the group is to big. However my older daughter (10) was treated terribly. She defends herself because a boy tried to tough inappropriately and is placed in a room with the same boy and I am called because of her behavior! The room faces the director, however she is constantly busy on the phone or screaming at the other kids she is not really supervising. At evening pick up the counselors are so tired you enter with them screaming at all the kids. No ID is needed to pick children, no security what so ever. Too overcrowded with after school kids.

I could not ask for a better place for my kids to be. I have 3 kids and all are in Kids In Motion, my son is 4 and in the preschool full time, my daughters are 6 and 8 and in the after school program and have both done the summer camp. They take wonderful care of my children and I have become very close with all of the teachers and the owner is very hands on with the kids.

my child came home crying after her counslers screamed at her when she did something that wasnt wrong! i am very dissatisfied and i will not be coming back this counsler should not scream at my child. She is only 6 and she doesnt need this in her life .

Its a great place that my kid really enjoyed! My daughter gymnastics teacher was great her name was mrs.cece. The kids had lots to do! i was really impressed with the counslers they treated every kid with respect and patients!

I was unhappy with the Camp. My children did enjoy the activities and the owner was very nice.

Some counselors (not all) were inattentive and rude to the children. One of our children contacted us regarding an altercation during one of the trips. The head counselor we spoke to was absolutely horrific - rude, accusatory and the main contributor to the problem. The owner, on the other hand, was very nice and attempted to resolve the situation. We also had concerns about the drop off / pick up procedures as there did not appear to be too much control. My husband would walk in, pick them up & leave without every signing out, speaking to a counselor or having anyone acknowledge him. There are just too many kids in their Camp program and too few counselors to be able to acknowledge every parent in that fashion.

I would not recommend this camp to anyone.

Should it be honest business? Anything goes not us expected!
No supervision on rock climbing (2 trained people suppose be to spot there), nobody standing on the trampoline, no refrigerator space-20 minutes for perishable out o fhe fridge is a MAX-food handling basics! Melting cake! Artproject was set for half of the kids number at the time, no supervision for kids to go from room to room. No tables or carts for gifts and props, for trays with glasses to land, no organized activities, and instead of 3 trained professionals we've got almost two: one tired lady and a teen. We we told to bring every little bit, even q-tips to use us glue brushes. We had to decorate ourself-not walk in clean and decorated room as promised, while being let in 15 minutes before party instead of 45 min and had previous party leftouts on every surface and garbage not removed through or party. I had to pay attention to my guests and birthday child mainly, was no time to fix things with guests arriving. I am burned down from their unethical and absolutely unfair business conduct.

I would recommend this place for kids parties but only for kids 6 and under. The staff is friendly and polite but the activities are geared toward younger children.

This is an everything kind of place. They have preschool, camp, aftercare, gymnastics, swimming lessons, you-name-it. I find it to be a bit lax in that they don't seem very attentive to the kids and the kids sort of run wild there. They do bring the children on outings to park and for Italian Ices which is nice, but it is not a place I would enroll my own children.
