Been to better places in orlando.
The interior is excellent, however the food is tourist quality. Much seemed to be pre-made and frozen- especially the spring rolls.
Way too salty too- probably to make shelf- life longer.
Noisy tourists as well. We were better off going to a small mom and pop Thai off the tourist area.

My husband and I found this place by luck. We had just arrived in Orlando for our honeymoon, and stopped here because it happened to be by our hotel and we thought we'd try it. Best. Thai. Ever! The restaurant is decorated really cool too. The staff is really friendly and the food is amazing. We went back again before going home.

My colleagues and I had a great experience dining in this wonderful piece of authentic asia in Orlando.
Not only is the food flavorful (I had the Chicken Green Curry) but the service as well is: polite and personable
till the end by one of the best and wittiest servers I had the pleasure of meeting. Eddie treated us like friends and it was almost hard to get up and leave Thai Thani. Will definitely be back and spread the word about this Fabulous place. I highly recomment this restaurant!

I will make this short because in all fairness I have been to this restaurant only once. I will possibly give it another chance, but based on the fact that I found my dish to be totally bland and without the usual desired levels of flavor for which Thai food is loved, I will hope they have some new help in the kitchen. The romantic ambiance of the restaurant in the evening is worth a visit. It is flooded with candlelight that bounces of the beautiful Buddah displays. Very lovely for a romantic evening.

Pros: Beautiful night dining atmosphere, easy parking, good service.

Cons: Chef needs some help in the flavoring department.

Every time I eat here, it's good. I like the look of the restaurant too. I haven't had many of their meals but the few I have tried have been tasty.

I've never had to wait for a table and the servers have always been nice.

Just as a note: I frequented Thai Thani for lunch, and can only speak about the service at that time. However, I have easily eaten at this restaurant about 30 times. The service was almost always fast. As a regular, the owner frequently had my order into the kitchen before I even sat down. The food is excellent - I am especially found of their curry. The spring rolls are also a favorite of mine. Having now moved out of the area, I very much miss this amazing restaurant.

Cons: A little expensive

I ate at Thai Thani. Their appetizers were big enough to be an entree. I loved it. They made sure you were fed and satisfied in what you had purchased.

From what I read on line, there was a lot hype for Thai Thani. I have to admit that it didn't live up to the reviews. But in all fairness, here is my opinion of our dinner.

GOOD THINGS - Service was faster than what we anticipated and polite. Convenient because they took our reservation over the phone. Prices reasonable for Orlando resort area. Choices available for food spiciness.

AVOID AT ALL COST - Thai ice tea, horrible. All of us ordered based on another reviewers recommendation. I am writing this review so the next person won't be surprised. It was very orange in color, flavor and odor reminded of the black Asian jello that comes in a can. Even sipping was difficult. We put them aside and ordered water for all of us at the table. Our fault, we didn't specify "bottled water". We assumed the tap water was a part of the flavor problem in the ice tea.

DISHES - We ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees to share. We ordered cold spring rolls, stuffed wings, beef in chili sauce, pad Thai, chicken with broccoli and noodles and pork fried rice. 90% of the sauces that were with our dish was a gooey form, more like Chinese take-out than Thai. My dish had a lot of bell peppers and onions. One of the dishes, needed a lot more basil for flavoring, I only found one or two pieces of basil in it. None of the meat was seared and the pad thai was lacking in the cilantro and needed a lot more zing. We were visiting from out of town for a convention and took our leftovers back to the condo and had them the next day, we noticed the flavor was better the second day.

IN CONCLUSION - After our so-so meal, we decided against dessert and wanted to leave as quickly as possible. Between the four of us, our dinner came to around $140.00 with a 20% tip. Authentic, not so much, but JUST DON'T DO THE THAI ICE TEA, nasty just doesn't quite describe it.

Although the ambiance is nice the food was very average and expensive for the portion size. The pad thai lacked flavor, was just sweet. The cilantro was missing from the dish, but tons of crushed peanuts The potstickers were average, didn't have a lot of flavor. The spring rolls were served uncooked and cold which would have been ok if they had used rice paper, but they used spring wrapper dough which is unpleasant when not fried. The texture was dry and spongy.

The service was pretty fast and friendly so we left a nice tip.

I would try somewhere else.

If you like Thai food, you should like this place. I had the Yellow Curry Pineapple Fried Rice and it was very good. My hubby got the Ginger Duck. The thai spring rolls were served cold, and while they weren't bad they were odd texturally. The Rice dish I got was delicious while my husband's Ginger Duck was skimpy on the duck, and the duck that was there was fatty. All in all we might go back, but next time I want Thai I might try a different place first.

The restaurant was crowded even though it was a weekday but we were seated quickly. They had many hand-crafted decorations inside making for a charming ambiance. However, that is all we enjoyed at this restaurant. The waitress barely understood what we said. The food was tasteless and the quantities were small. The Squid house special appetizer was tasteless and soggy. The order of dumplings was what appeared to be one dumpling cut into tiny pieces. We ordered a Seafood Hotpot but that was served in a plate and was luke warm. The Pad Thai was not bad but I have had better stuff costing half as much. We asked for the spice level to be mild in all our dishes but obviously these instructions we not passed to the chef because our Pad Thai was extremely hot. We are Asian and we know what Thai food tastes like. This was a terrible example. Plus this place is extremely expensive for what they dish out. Avoid at all costs.

I've never had Thai food before, and this place came highly recommended so I had to try it. It was incredibly easy to find (right in a shopping plaza across from Sea World) and the decor was very outdoors-cafe-in-Thailand, which was nice. The menu has a huge variety, most things were around $12-15, with the most expensive entrees I saw being $19.00 (for fish entrees- some had "market price" so they could be a little more). The waiter took a little long to get to out table initially, but after that he was very good and prompt. We ordered the Crab Rangoon for an appetizer- it came with six and they were all delicious, as was the sauce. The Pad Thai was amazing, a little spicy but I asked for it spicy. The Sizzling Duck was absolutely delicious, I'd never had duck but I was extremely impressed. I also had the Thai Sweet Tea, which was like a tea frappucino- very good. As we were finishing up, a woman came out to dance- it was entertaining at first, but it was kind of repetitive- oh well, I go for the food, so I will definitely go back here and it's highly recommended.

I hate this place, its one of the worst thai restuarant I been to. I wanted 15 mins. until someone came to my table. I expected the service to be great by the rating thats was given here, but when I went there, I cant believe how bad it was. The portion was small and I refill took forever. I understand server has there bad day and good, but I was never apologize for my experience.

This restaurant is called Thai Thani (someone got the spelling wrong). I love Thai food and have been to several Thai restaurants and this is the best I have ever been to. I lived down the road for over a year and went here often. I don't eat out very much but this place is just SO good. Definitely the best Thai food I have ever had. the atmosphere is great, decorated very well. They have just expanded their sushi bar and have some really interesting creations available...if you like sushi. Definitely try this place. the food is great, the people are nice. that atmosphere is beautiful. We usually sit on the floor at the low tables. Their Thai iced tea is wonderful. The crab rangoons have an amazing sauce and I have never had a bad meal there. Great restaurant.
