I have been to this restaurant for years now and I always love it! I love the atmosphere and the food (and their gift shop!) I always order seafood and it has always been delish! One should definitely try it.

I haven't been out for New Year's Day in probably 15 years and I am SOOOOOO sorry that I picked this place to venture out to. There were a total of 3 tables in the restaurant that had people sitting at them and we were ignored most of the evening. We had to ask for water refills and the waiter had absolutely no personality. I don't know if he had a bad day, but the service was horrible. The best part of the whole meal was paying for it so we could leave. You would think that a seafood restaurant in a marina with a beautiful view would make an effort to make the food up to par with the atmosphere.

Pros: leaving

Cons: everything. bad service, being ignored, subpar food that wasn't really hot

went 1 time, owners was changing. walked out after 45 mins of not being served, then told none of the seafood was available. they begged us to come back in, and the food was barely passable. Heard great review again, went 6 months laye, ate upstairs. No bimini bread, took 45 mins to refill water. servers more interested in discussing last nights party than taking care of us. there was 1 other couple in the room with us, yet i had to get up 5 times to ask for a refill on water or a drink. The shrimp cocktail sauce was horrible, the steak sent back over cooked, Oysters had grit in them. Witer too bust in other room to check back. So that is it. The people that like it are remembering the old good 15th Street Fisheries. The servers attitude was arrogant and of no interest in taking care of 4 people in a room. It smelled musty. So after trying the downstairs and the upstairs, where the cost greatly varies, it all was bad. I eat out 4-5 times a week and would rather go to Hobo's Fish Joint or Blue Moon where my business and desire to be taken care of AT THE SAME PRICES. i have told everyone and each person goes and comes back shaking hteir head in disgust. If they last another year I would be greatly surprised.

Once seated we were met by our server who never introduced himself to us, never obtained our attention for explaining the menu or any questions that my guests or I may have had? They did take our drink and appetizer order. We were incredibly dissatisfied by the shrimp cocktail (4 pieces of medium shrimp for $12) and the fisheries salad. An HOUR went by and neither of our servers took the care to ask us if we would like to order or would we like refills or MORE bread? We finally call on the server to come over a take our orders. The orders arrive in the allotted time and appear properly cooked? My finace's order of seafood rigatoni priced at $25 was comprised of exactly 12 pieces of rigatoni pasta, 4 small shrimp, 2 scallops and 2 mussells. The lobster sauce that she was looking forward to was so watery that it did not stick to the food and could only be found at the bottom of the plate. A potential client of ours ordered the Tuna (medium) and was surprised to cut into the tuna and basically see a piece of sushi. Luckily another guest liked ""raw tuna"" and the two switched plates.A guest of ours and I ordered the Mahi Mahi, which is one of my favorites at the Fisheries, until now. Both of our serving were undercooked. We both had one bite and knew! The servers NEVER came back to check on us concerning our meals. I called for the server and sent both plates back to be properly cooked and shortly They reheated the entire plate in the oven, NOT even removing the rice or vegetables. Needless to say that from leaving my setting and returning back tome took just under 3 minutes?\r\nI have been a loyal customer of the fisheries for 16 years bringing family, friends, and clients on a regular basis. It is a shame that the new management has turned their backs on the tradition. Good bye Fisheries...I'll miss who you were.

I've been going to The Fisheries for a very long time. This trip was a dissapointment to say the least. Service was not good. The food and drinks took way too long to arrive. We asked for more of the yummy breads that they offer just to tied us over and it felt as if we were asking for something we shouldn't.\r\nWhat a shame. I don't think we will return anytime soon

My sister's boss invited the whole family out to early dinner. So, I figured since I would never ordinarilly make this trip myself, why not. Oh my their food is incredible! I love the way it is set up on the water too. We made sure we got a table with the view and it was the best experience! We had lobster which was juicy and tender as can be with a wonderful wine. Can't wait til he goes again!

I really am a fsh freak and love the fresh lbster and shrimp. The restaurant is actually a boat and is really cool and different, although you might expect more of these here. Have a nice drink at the bar and enjoy a 'different type of setting'.

The bad news is that 15th Street Fisheries is a little tricky to find the first time.

The good news is you probably won't be wanting to find it a second time.

Well, it looks cool enough with all the requisite boat nets and anchors and somesuch all over the place. Actually it looks like it has a lot of promise. Looks can be decieving though. Luckily, they do have a full bar. I suggest you hit that first (and heavy) before you get your food. Hey I'm just tryin to help ya out here...

The first thing I saw on the menu was, of course, lobster... and for only $15.95 on the lunch menu! Woohoo! I'm a shell fish freak so this was what looked like a definite score. Looked like. What I got was this whole lobster that was just so damn tough and tasteless accompanied by the grossest tasting version of pseudo drawn butter I've ever cared to come across. This is the first time in my 47 years that I have left a lobster unfinished.

So. Cool view of the Intracoastal with deck seating, but the food is pretty bad...

PROS: Relaxing location on the water
CONS: Bad food

This is the place to go to for a 7 course meal, sherbet in between servings and also the place to go for a simple fresh lightly fried grouper sandwich for lunch overlooking the New River. The seared tuna is the best I've ever had anywhere, the service makes you feel like a movie star and they have the same food downstairs in the bar overlookng the intercoastal as they do upstairs, except downstairs they call it a sandwich and don't server sherbet. Makes the great food affordable for everyone, not just the 7 course meal types. This is by far the best restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale.

best seafood in town. I always bring family and clients here to entertain. They have been around a long time and it is nice to see they are still doing it right. SPECTACULAR!

Editorial from

15th Street Fisheries is really two restaurants in one: A formal upstairs, decorated in Victorian style and serving fresh fish, pastas such as seafood cannelloni and exotic game like kangaroo and ostrich filets. Then there's a cozier, less…
