This place is absolutely gorgeous. The hotel is huge--they have a shopping center, several restaurants, and a huge pool that has a kiddie water park. The cabana bar by the pool is great and they serve good food. If you stay on floor 12 or higher, you have access to their penthouse clubhouse, located on the top floor, where you can get FREE LIQUOR and they serve food during a happy hour from 5-7, and the food is really good--fried shrimp, stuffed mushrooms, chicken fingers....we would come here for happy hour and make this our dinner! this place is located right on the beach, and is not too far from South Beach.

What can I say about the Fountainbleau that hasn't been said before..I've seen this hotel undergo many changes and have been quest there during a few of the different periods of it's most famous existence..

The rooms have always been first class and depending on where they are located can be a room you don't want to leave..With it's sweeping views of the Ocean, a balcony room may leave you breathless as you watch the waves roll in, people frolicing on the beach, windsurfing or just lying on the sand soaking up the sun. The views facing the bay are not shabby either but I prefer the Ocean views.

If exercise is your forte, the state of the art heath club and spa awaits..There is also a 4 mile boardwalk behind the hotel.

I've been to many events at the Fountainbleau and have found the service and food excellent whether for a small gathering or a huge wedding. Even class reunions take on a deluxe feel when held at this hotel.

The pool area is beyond words..With waterfalls, bars and now a water amusement area for the kiddies young and old.

Yes, The fountainbleau is an icon of it's time and the memories I have of all the moments I've spent there with never be forgotten.

PROS: Ocean front rooms..You can't ask for better than that for a view
