This is no fancy grocery store, but it is great for stocking up on essentials! Beware - either bring your own shopping bags or be charged 10 cents for each.

This supermarket certainly lives up to it's namesake SAVE-A-LOT! This supermarket was recommended to me about 5 years ago by a neighbor and I was impressed with the value that they provide. Some of their supermarkets also have a dollar store type of section that makes shopping for birthday items, books, and other things that you may find in a Dollar Tree quick and easy. I find that there frozen food section far outweighs the other supermarkets in value. On average I can say that I save anywhere between .30 - $1.00 and up per item. Money wise that certainly adds up. Besides their frozen food selections, I would recommend their Produce, Dairy, and Baked Goods to stretch your wallet. You have to bag or box your own groceries which some may not like to do themselves and if you want to use their bags you must pay .3 cents for a small one or .10 cents for a large one. I personally bring my own bags or find boxes as I shop around the store. So if bagging or boxing your own groceries doesnt bother you and saving money on groceries is right up your alley... then visit one of their supermarkets and who knows, you can start saving that extra money for that vacation you may want to take.
