The rink is definitely aging, and somewhat falling into disrepair, along with attendance dropping significantly. The appeal of roller skating has dropped a lot, and as such the business has dropped. Part of this could be that the rink caters to a client base who's age is more in the under 13 category, and the appeal to older clients is just not there, unless they have kids. The ownership is also quite strict, with what some would call a ridiculous amount of rules. Also, ownership is fairly grouchy and doesn't particularly deal with customers in the most friendly manner at all times. If you want a cheap way to go skating indoor, it's a good option, but it's more of a niche establishment.

PROS: Skating, lights, music
CONS: Snack bar expensive, grouchy management, not the best area of town

this isn't just from a former customer (aka rink rat) but also an ex-employee. no this not gonna be a bash on them. i'm gonna tell like it is the same way i always have. The skateing floor still shows signs that it was an execlent floor, some time in the past. the florr is still better than most in this region but is still considered small and aged. the sound system is two big sterio boxs mounted on the back side of the rink. does the job but could definatlly be up graded. Dj eqipment is actually better than most other rinks. they have two turntables, a comp with over 1,000 songs, cd player, and newly instaled DVD player with projector. lighting looks like someting out of the 70's. but WHEN it works right it actually isn't that bad. lighting also has, 8 Stobe lights, 6 disco balls, 3 or 4 "martin" lights (depending on if they got the 4th back working, it's been down for 3 years) fog machine (if its up) a rotating multi light, and finally a blue cop light (complete with siren). Snack bar has a descent size menu but don't offer all of it every session. food is the same as a school cafiteria meal. game room is a rip off because most the games are real old and not working properlly. roof leaks so i would not suggest going if it has or will rain. they do have new rentals so the rental skates are decent. the mangment on day skates uaually isn't bad. but if you get Mr. D or Mrs. D as your manager you not likely to have as much fun. suggested managers are Mrs. Debbie, or Gary. all in all its a good rink if you use it in moderation.

PROS: customers are fabulous
CONS: OWNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A typical old fashioned skating rink. They rent both 4 wheel skates or you can pay a little more and rent inline skates.

They play updated music but have the typical skate themes such as skate backwards, change directions, etc.

They host a lot of parties and gatherings but they are large and have plenty of room.

Parking can be a bit challenging if it gets busy.

They have a snack bar and the prices are pretty good. Don't look for anything healthy.

They also have pool tables available and a small game room.

Plenty of seathing to get your skates on or to watch your kids.
