Just came across this area in getting the number for my girlfriend. I actually had a great experience with this dentist. I did pay for most of the care in advance but it allowed me to get most of my work done in 3 visits rather than little by little which is how my old dentist did it. He is very patient and has great hands. I highly recommend him. Good luck.

I went to see this so called Dr. two years ago & as many have written he handed me a bill for $20,000 worth of dental treatments. I advised him at that moment that I could not afford that, & he explained to me that he had a program I could sign up for & try to get me approved through Capital One. I explained to him that I did not want to spend so much money on my teeth & that I would go to another dentist for a second opinion, he went on and on about how beautiful I was & how being a single woman it was important to have a beautiful smile blah blah blah. His assistant at the time was Maria & she came into the room and advised me Capital One had approoved me & that it would be for $15,000 I again told him I could not afford that & that I would discuss it with my parents & see how they felt, The very next day I called to tell them I had decided not to go through with the loan however I would use them for a cleaning & my insurance would cover it. I went for my cleaning & after it was done I was handed an electric tooth brush that the dental assistant advised was a gift from Dr. Piedra for having a deep cleaning done. a month or so later I recieve a bill from Capital One advising I had to make my first payment. So I called Capital One & told them that was a mistake because I never did any dental work with the Dr besides the cleaning that was covered by my insurance & they told me that Dr Piedra cashed the check for $15,000 & that it was my responsibility to pay it back.

I met Dr. Piedra, and he is the first dentist Ive ever met and not been afraid of. He is unlike any dentist Ive ever met: very warm, nice, and doesnt make me feel embarrassed about the amount of work that needs to be done. I have yet to encounter any pain, and that is a huge relief to me.
The staff was puntual and helpful
For the first time ever, I walked away from the doctor with a smile on my face.

I am a patient I had someone call me asking if I am a current patient, told me If I would like to get out paying for my loan with care credit to think about it and be smart and gave me the number of the attorney, that is a scam no attorney works for free they are trying to get people to do this the only one who will benefit and get a name and money is the attorney, and probably the reporter a % no one just helps for free this days, the economy is bad, but I am not getting myself involved in to something that may come back to me.

Pricing changes, two times I was unable to get any work done because the other dentists in Dr Piedra's office walked out because they were not getting paid. He promised a refund for work that was not done 3 months ago and I am still waiting.

My name is Chris. I had been playing ice hockey my whole life, and had bad teeth. I never used to smile because my teeth were ugly. I came to Dr. Rene Piedra and my life has been changed. I had to learn how to smile again, but that was a small price to pay. The staff was/is the best. They always seem genuinely happy to see you, and help you. I was always scared to come to the dentist and tried to get away with not coming. I now have a beautiful set of teeth. I couldnt recommend any stronger for someone to come and get their smile fixed. It is so worth it.
