On a recent day-trip to Tampa, my husband and I stopped in the cauldron for a quick lunch. The place was just as we remembered it; sweet reggae music overhead, excellent food and generous portions. I had the escoveiched snapper and he had the brown-stew chicken. The service was great and the price was reasonable. Although Ybor City has changed dramatically over the years, the Cauldron is still a great value.
