My friends and I are always looking for new places to try for happy hour, especially if they have great food and we heard that the restaurant in the Hilton in Altamonte Springs as a cool restaurant called U. OK, its kind of a strange name but wowthe food is great and they have some excellent happy hour specials too.
About of their menu is tapas, which are perfect to share with friends and we all thought the flatbreads (they have several different kinds) were fantastic. Most of my friends (me included) dont usually think of hotel bars as a place to go but the place is very chic and open, so it doesnt make a woman feel like shes in some dark and uninviting bar. The bartenders are really cool and all that plus great specials and food makes U a place WE will come back to soonsorry for the pUnI couldnt resist!

This is a good location.. easy to get to from I-4 yet close to both Orlando and not too far from Daytona. Service was good and the rooms were clean. rates are average for the area. We would go back when in the area.

We stayed here for two evenings in March. Very nice, quick get away. Nice clean rooms and very nice atmosphere. They have a nice little bar if you want to go down and relax.

I heard about these new Inferno Wings from a friend who was there for happy hour last week because she knows Im a heat freak and am always on the lookout for hot wings. I went in a couple of days ago and the bartender warned me in advance that theyre made with the ghost chili pepper, which is supposed to be the hottest in the world. I said I was ready and wanted to let everyone know that if youre into heatthese babies pack some!
What makes these the best Ive had is not just the fact that theyre hot but they have great flavor too. Anyone can make em hot but they usually dont taste great. I really thought the flavor was awesome and was surprised that a hotel restaurant would be so good at a specialty item like this, when normally its the wing joints that specialize in hard to perfect items like this.
