Not recommended.... Poor quality of customer service treatment, better service from a mcdonalds drive thru.\r
Overall good food but just order take-out.

Of all the restaurants I have visited, I would say that Vito's Chop House has undoubtedly the best service. Our server was extremely attentive without being overbearing. Our dishes were cleared promptly and the recommended meals were spot-on. Highly recommended.

Restaurant atmosphere was great. Server and manager quite knowledgeable. Servings large enough to share. We had both sea food and steak to experience both. Desert (chocolate!) was excellent.

We had several dishes from the Cedar plank Salmon to the bone in Prime Ribeye Steak as well as salad and the Portabello appetizer. We had some great deserts as well. You have to have a serious appetite to come here though!

Ate here last week. Very inconsistent, hence 3 stars. Our waiter was a fun, nice, professional guy, but we rarely saw him..service is slow and it takes forever to get plates cleared. The food is very good. The filet was great, and not charred on the outside (don't know what the other reviewers are talking about). The starters are okay at best and the wine list is good, but I think that this place spends too much time trying to get you to upgrade. The real stars are the sides. They were awesome! The mashed potatoes and mushrooms were great. The bread they bring at the beginning is warm, crispy and fantastic. Not the best, but not the worst. Not too expensive but there are other places that are better.

Having looked around all of Orlando for a place to eat a nice dinner, we decided upon Vito's and we were so happy we did. We started with the Lobster Bisque and the Tomato & Bufalo Mozzarella salad. Both were exceptional. These were sizable servings, so we decided to share the 24 oz Ribeye for our entree, which was a good idea. We still had leftovers even after sharing. The preparation and seasoning of the ribeye made it one of the best we both had ever had. We ordered a bottle of wine from one of our FAVORITE vineyards and we were so pleased they had it in inventory (Girard Cabernet Franc). We were told they had an inventory of 1400 bottles. The Somelier was very educated and we had a wonderful discussion of some vineyards, which was great. The server was a bit new and he could have done a better job (hence the 4 out of 5 stars). But overall, a great meal and we will definitely go back. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in town.

I have eaten here about 6 times in the past year and the food is excellent! Service is a little slow, however the waiter recommendations on wine were very good. The entrees are ar la cart, the side dishes were tasty with very large portions the mash potatoes they would make your mother sing for more, only there will be plently in one side order. I recommened Vitos to some friends and they said it was great as well.

Had dinner on 05-16-07 at the recommendation of the hotel concierge as the best steak house in Orlando, however, he must haven been talking about another steak house as this restaurant rates at the bottom of the places that I have eaten. The air conditioning was so cold I thought they had seated us in the meat locker instead of the restaurant. The waiter did not tell us that the cheese crumbs for the salad cost $2.50. The 20oz.filet mignon that my wife and I split was the thickness of roast and excessively rare in the middle. The cost of a 13oz steak was $28 and the 20oz was $44. When he took the steak back cook it some more he left the mushrooms on the table. Did, I mention that it was served on a steel serving plate with out potatoes or vegetables. An experience that I would like to forget and over pricey.

I'm a regular at Vito's and I can't believe some of the comments people have left here. The atmosphere, along with the impeccable service, fabulous steaks and not to mention one of the US's BEST WINE LISTS.. you can't beat it. You can get anything from a cheap $30 bottle of Shiraz to a bottle of Chateau Petrus!

The steaks always come out a little charred, that's the way they do 'em. I always ask for Wendy or Melissa who've been there many years.

My only complaint about Vito's is that you definitely get what you pay for here. If you're on a travel budget or uncomfortable spending a lot of money on food, you won't be happy with their less-pricey entrees. It's also not an Italian restaurant, its a steakhouse, so the pasta leaves more to be desired.

Overall, Vito's has that great old Steakhouse feel to it. I dine there at least twice a month and have never had a bad experience.

This is the worst place in Orlando. Waffle house has a better porterhouse than this place....and priced alot less!

Be careful of the sales tactics at Vito's. The servers will be very quick to push costly items such as wine without disclosing the true cost of the product. We had a $630 bottle of wine persistently pushed on our table without ever discussing the cost. Once we complained about the sales tactics the price was reduced to $470. Very sneaky sales.

Food was only average; poor filet mignon and below average key lime pie. Other establishments do a much better job.

Recently went to Vitoss with a friend that had been here before and really liked it. I thought it was nice, but the service lacked a little the night we were there. The first wine that we asked for they did not have and when we went for a second bottle we were out of luck too. These were not that far out there, $75/bottles.

I expected a little better service for the price. They were not very quick to remove old dishes and we did not see our waiter that often except when he did not have the wine.

They did send over the manager to offer his apologies for being out of the wine the second time yet he only offered $6 off the bottle that he recommended.

I would suggest Timpano down the road for a good steak and better service.

If I'm in Orlando, then it's always Vito's. A true one of a kind. Never dissapointed with the food, service, or ambiance. Had dinner at Vito's twice last week and I think it get's better every time. I highly recommend the Veal Porterhouse, hands down the best steak I've ever had!

After reading the reviews we made reservations to dine at this restaurant a month in advance. We did have a table and a specific one at that, located next to the aquarium. The salad is average at best. Our filets were burnt on the outside, raw on the inside. When I questioned this our (often MIA) waitress advised it gives it flavor. This should come as a relief to anyone who is just learning how to grill. As far as I'm concerned burning a filet on the outside, regardless of the temp on the inside is a waste of good beef. Don't bother to complain from the time you enter the front door until you leave you may see all of 3 staff members. I hate to say it, but save your money for a chain restaurant with a higher level of service and better grade food.

My wife and I ate here last weekend. The place is nice on the insde. The service was just ok. Out waitress seemed new. Something was off. The bread was excellent. We both had Filet Mignon. My wife had hers Medium and mine was supposed to be Medium rare. They both came out medium and quite charred on the outside. Nevertheless I at it anyway and it was a decent streak but by now means on par with Ruth's Chris/Del Monicos/Sullivans.

Recently took clients to dinner here. I was dissapointed in the service and the restaurant was not busy. Waiter was displaying the Lobster at the table and tilting the plate to show the other guests dripping raw Loster juices on the table. The Sommalier could not seem to find our table and the service was very uneven in general. The food was good but for a $600.00 tab for dinner I will find a restaurant next time that wants my business.

Absolutly the best I have ever had. And with a Wine list like this, and such a knowledgeable staff to go along with this, you cannot make a wrong decision. I highly recondmend Vito's to Everyone!

Vito's has an excellent amabiance, responsive servers and management, but berst of all, high quality food. The steaks compare very well to the high end steak houses (such as Del Frisco's).
Side dishes and appetizers are also very good, They also mix some mean cocktails. All in all, well worth a visit, followed by many more visits thereafter.

Excellent service. Very attentive wait staff. Superb winelist. Steaks have been cooked perfectly to order on the past 4 visits that we have made to Vito's. We will continue to visit Vito's for our special night's out on the town.
