My daughter went to Universal Academy of Florida until we moved out of state. I was very impressed with the teachers. She was able to read and spell small words when she left PreK4 and when she left kindergarten, she was reading Dr. Suess independently.
The campus is open and sunny. It's a beautiful atmosphere for the kids. Lower elementary and Preschool had a big playground that the kids looked forward to playing on.
I would recommend the school to anyone with preschool and lower elementary aged children.
I have no experience with the upper elementary or the middle or high school so I cannot comment on that.

Universal Academy of Florida is a fully accredited pre-k - 12th school for Muslim kids. As part of their curriculum they also have Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Studies for the kids. It is a very friendly and family like environment. It would be nice if they could have after school program for the kids. Hopefully as the community grows they will have more activities.

UAF is a private school associated with the ISTABA mosque. This school is certified thru the state and offers a nice new building for the students. The staff are friendly and professional and care about the students. The school offers classes from PreK thru 12 and really fills a need for the muslim community.

UAF is a great school for young muslim students. The new Facility is state of the art and the staff are well trained and friendly.
I think it is great that Tampa has a resource like this for the Muslim community.
