Rob's Hobby World

I am relatively new to Ocala (1 1/2 years) and I am used to dealing with a much larger hobby store to support my R/C airplane hobby. At first I was a little dismayed when I went into Rob's Hobby World but soon realized that, in this case, physical size really doesn't matter. Rob carries a very diverse and complete inventory, and what he doesn't have on the shelf, he can order and usually have in a few days; usually at a lower price than you pay if you order yourself. At my last hobby shop I was just a customer. At Rob's I feel that I am also a friend. I highly recommend Rob's. Let's ensure that he stays in business.

Rob's Hobby World carries a very good selection of hobby and model supplies. I have purchased several items from them and I have always been pleased with them.
Their prices are very good and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
They have a wide range of RC airplanes and supplies, much larger than most stores.
The store is well stocked and very neat.

My son in law is very much into RC cars and planes etc. you know all those men things, well I wanted to do something different for his birthday a few years ago, I stopped in and had no idea what I was looking for. I spoke to the staff and advised them of my situation. Well in 30 minutes I walked out of there with some goodies for him for his birthday. Now he gives me lists of things he is looking for when the holidays come near. He is always happy to get the gift and now we make trips there together so I can see what he really looks for. Prices are a little high but the wuality and the customer service is worth it.

PROS: Great customer service
CONS: a little high on pricing

We LOVE going to this hobby store!! They have everything you need for model railroading, planes, ships... everything!! Just plan awesome!! They also sell the magazines for hobbies and everything!! Very much so worth checking out!!!
