This restaurant was tastefully decorated and served delicious food. I recommend the orange chicken. The service was excellent and the prices were moderate. The wait on the weekends averages around 30 minutes so reservations are suggested! They are conveniently located in West Shore Plaza.
LOVE this place. Vegetarian lettuce wraps are addicting. Cannot get enough. Food here is delicious. No wonder they are always so busy. If we ever eat out, PF Changs is one of the places my family always considers!!
My nephew turns 17 this week, and, per tradition, the birthday boy chose the restaurant. Having read some not-so-great recent reviews of this restaurant, I was worried...especially since we were a group of seven. We arrived right on time for our reservation and were seated immediately!
Carl, our waiter, was very patient and helpful walking us through menu choices and also quite efficient throughout the meal. He even brought us an extra egg roll to replace the one "that got away" as my brother was trying to slice it.
Oh, by the way, the food was delicious.
Noise level note: The volume of music and bustling atmosphere can be difficult for patrons with hearing issues. Mom struggled to follow the table conversation.
Pros: Exceptional service
Cons: A bit pricey
This was disgusting. It was my sister's birthday and I couldn't walk out- it was like torture! There were flies and gnats flying everywhere. It was gross. The rest of the people with me acted like nothing's wrong while they were casually batting insects. I destoyed one with my CHOPSTICKs and called the manager over. He acted like there was nothing there. I showed him, and his response? "well, it's FLorida!! (westshore mall, tampa) Do you want to move tables?" YES! So I made everyone move to the other side of the resturant, and there were MORE FLIES AND GNATS!!! EWWWW. Mangaer didn't even offer to comp the meal.
Service? off the charts. below the charts. WAY below the charts. I started watching to see the other waiters, and it looked like ALL OF THEM were as slow and not friendly as ours.
My sister is a vegan, and she says the food is great. Maybe the tofu is out of the world, but I got a beef dish, my hubby got a chicken dish, my mom got a fish dish and dad got pork. NONE OF IT WAS GOOD. NONE!! The portions were tiny itsy bitsy. CHILD SIZED!!!
Oh- and the price? wow. We could have gotten chinese for the price we paid for a week. A WEEK. Oh- and we're still hungry now that we're home, and we've had upset stomach. niiiiiiice.....
Oh- and we figured out why they have dark mood lighting. It so you don't see the insects and dirt (yes, all but one of our forks were dirty).
BEWARE: NEVER EAT HERE!!"
Pros: The 1\4 head of lettuce was good
Cons: gnats, bad, worse and more insects
I used to go to pfchangs, tampa atleast 1-2 times a month. It was one of the best places for office dinners, birth parties etc. My rating always was 4+ for 5. But last couple of months it changes.
New manager started changing the environment of the restaurant. It was embarrassing in front of my out of town clients. She doesn?t care if the party is 8 or more. I experienced this 2 times in last 2 months. Even with a reservation we have to wait over 30 mints
Food is still great. But lacks hospitality. You fell as if you are in a fast food place.
I still do recommend pfchangs for smaller parties. Hope things change sooner.
You better call ahead. I went for a week day lunch and had a 30 minute wait. The food was good. The menu is huge. I didnt feel like the waitress was friendly. Some of the portions were small for the price.
Pros: good food
Cons: servive was only ok
i love pf chang's because they have probably the best asain food in a relaxed upper class atmosphere. its nothing like one of those little take out joints, this place has class. i would reccomend the lettuce cups.
Upscale Chinese - think Chinese meets Chili's. Good taste, spiced right, though more expensive than your usual take-out.
This is a great place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere. The food is wonderful. The Chow Mein Combo is incredible! If you don't like the busy atmosphere steer clear during the weekends. I prefer to go there during the weekdays its less crowded and less noisy. If you are planning to go there during the weekend MAKE SURE YOU MAKE RESERVATIONS! I was listening and the wait on a Saturday night was 1-2 hours. The waiters are attentive and the food, well put it this way we ordered much more than we were going to eat to have left overs for the next day. Try the Sangria, its PERFECT. A great place to eat and enjoy the company of family and friends.
Pros: Good Service
Cons: Busy weekends
This food is FRESH. Not a word you can use to describe many Chinese restaurants. The atmosphere is casual but hip. The lettuce wraps are awesome- I get them every time. Yu can't go wrong with any of their entrees- AND THERE ARE ALOT! You gotta try it.
Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Parking
Cons: Crowded, Long Wait, Expensive Drinks
P.F. Chang's is a favorite of mine (and my wife's). We uasually go twice a month (at least). Service is always great, restaurant is always clean, drinks are well-made and prompt, and the food is perfect EVERY time. I HIGHLY suggest the Seared Ahi Tuna or the Peking Dumplings (we prefer them pan fried). Overall, a great addition to the other restaurants at Westshore. I would suggest making reservations...they're usually VERY busy.
Pros: Atmosphere, Wine selection, Value
Cons: Parking, Crowed
The Mongolian Beef is the best. If you come early and eat off the special menu the prices are reduced. The cocktail prices are very pricey but large. Highly recommended
Possibly the best overall Chinese anywhere - to die for "Mongolian Beef", best lettuce in the world! - it's a chain but of all the chains this is truly the best of the best. The usual is rice and buffet - this brings "dining" and "quality" into the equation.
Pros: great food, great ambiance, great service
