Absolutely disgusting!! & the lady in the office is rude. My uncle stopped by to visit and she followed him to my room & said he had to leave! Very unprofessional. There are burn holes in the blanket and the towels were dingy yellow. I do not recommend this place at all

i currently live there, i had to wait for my kitchenette to be ready because it was being remodeled. they redid the main room, kitchen portion and bathroom down to the wood frame. all new cabinet's, new stove and full size fridge. new terrazzo tile i think it's called through out. phones were made free, the owner talked about adding dsl Internet. i highly recommend this place. there sweet and kind people and will give u a good room at a good rate. yes they have come a long way. the previous poster, don't know when she stayed there, but it was obviously was before the renovation.

PROS: rooms are being remodeled 1 by 1
CONS: no con's at this time

Now, Hollywood, Florida really isn't a bad little town at all. They have a pretty cool historic district with an old fashion town-center circle filled with nifty restaurants and whatnot. They also have a slew of no-tell motels lining route 1. This is one of them.

This is a little bitty flea trap. I didn't count the rooms, but I'm guessing about 15 all together. Four of those are on the side-street side, the rest are in a U-shape around a very small swimming pool. The office is just a window. Actually, I believe the owner lives there. At any rate, he's a pretty nice fella. Seriously.

The room is not what you would normally hope for by any means. But for $45 per night during high season in Southern Florida, it was a bargain. We had two double beds which consisted of a box spring topped by two very thin old mattresses each. Ordinarily, we'd be horrified, but all we could was laugh.

Let me tell ya.. the walls are a cream colored textured plaster, which is falling apart.. the rug had obvious off-color patches in the middle and was ripping away from the walls.. there was a 4 drawer dresser with a tiny TV, and as an added bonus there was another dresser standing on it's side wrapped in plastic in the corner. We were rollin'. But wait, I ain't near done yet..

The bathroom was small and dingy and decorated in a very tasteful duct tape. Really. The towel rack was held together in the middle with it, and the sink pipe had been repaired with the tape also. Classic. Just classic. The tub had been painted numerous times and was chipping down to the porcelain. The shower head was falling out of a gaping hole in the wall. There were two thread bare towels and one bar of soap but no shampoo or anything. The toilet didn't flush well.. you have to hold the handle down til the water goes wooosh.

In spite of the disrepair, it was clean. Even had a brand new fridge and microwave. Recommended only as a last resort.

PROS: Cheap
CONS: umm cheap
