Despite appearing to be a local business, this practice is actually owned by a NY corporation (petpartnersusa.com). Dr Groberg, who is an excellent vet and took great care of my cats, was let go by them last year. Now Drs. Diane and Scott Delmain who are top-notch 5 star vets, and had been there for many years, are now no longer at Bay Hill Cat Hospital, either. The corporation replaced them with another vet, Dr. Kari, who worked there previously, within the last year. I had a bad experience with her then when I had a sick cat that she treated. While she did do a good exam plus labs and xrays, she then wanted to do another expensive test the next day thinking my cat might have cancer. I initially said OK, but she began to improve that day. I called and asked if we needed to rush to do the test because if it was cancer a few days wouldn't make a difference. Dr. Kari immediately got very abrupt and hung up the phone. It was quite inappropriate, and made me wonder about her motivations and lose confidence in her judgment. The cat recovered without getting the test. I won??t be taking my cats there anymore.

The level of kindness, consideration and overall attention to our kitties needs is astounding. Dr G. has consistently treated myself, my husband and our stray, wayward kitties with professionalism, yet tenderness. She has seen us through kitties w/ cancer, kidney disease, diabetes, etc. I couldn't ask for anyone better. She listens, she doesn't judge, and she answers all questions thoughtfully, but w/ facts. We are Blessed to have her as our Vet, Crystal Chambliss-Pate

Diagnosed with cancer, it was pulling teeth to get the vets to give us follow up care instructions and what to expect for our cat's final weeks. Over $1500 in diagnostic testing was done and no guidance in planning for the end of our cat. Part of the problem lies with more than one vet handling your cat's care and little consistency, nor communication. Very disheartening experience; have taken other cats there for routine visits and no problems. Don't expect personable, quality care from this team if your pet has a chronic condition, or poor prognosis. Not even a follow up call afer unloading close to 2k for a cancer diagnosis to ask if there were any questions, or assistance they could provide. Just hand over the credit card here and advocate for your cat's care elsewhere!

I have taken 4 cats to Bay Hill Cat Hospital over the years and have always been pleased with their services. The office is very, very clean. The staff is caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Diane Delmain thoroughly answers your questions regarding procedures and options. My cats have seen her for check-ups, declawing, and spaying (following a failed surgery by another vet in another state). She has also exhibited great compassion as I sobbed in the examination room after delivering a cat for euthanasia. Although the fee schedule is a bit high (I can never get out of the office for less than $125), I trust the doctors and staff with my cats, who are like my children, and am willing to pay more for the skill and knowledge of the staff.
