West Orange 5

they're the best little movie theatre in town !! Prices are good & they've modernized ! The selection of food is pretty decent too !!I would definitely recommend them. In the summer they have kids specials on Wednesday mornings too. Good idea !!

My family likes going to the West Orange 5 movie theater. They have inexpensive tickets, which are only $6.50 for each adult. The selection of food is better than a typical movie place.

PROS: Wide selection of food, cheap ticket prices
CONS: Not the most modern theater

West Orange 5 is a small, friendly movie theater but shows the latest releases at a good price. When I first drove past it five years ago I though it was an adult theater, thats how the place looks from the outside. But don't be discouraged. It is a family theater with a great staff. I do not think they are owned by any of the big chains like AMC. In addition, they sell beer, nachos and hamburgers. Every Sunday my wife gets up and says. "Lets see whats playing at Orange!"

Although this is an older theater it does serve its purpose. They have a great family room that you can reserve. You can buy dinner and watch a movie while in a sound proof booth so that you kids an get up and move around if needed. It is only available for one of the movies so you need to call ahead to make sure it is the one you want to see. This solves the issue to needing to get out of the house when you can't find a babysitter or have a small infant.

I would like to recommend West Orange 5 Cinema as an alternative to the big mall cinemas. Although you are able to see first run movies, you will pay only $4 for matinee shows before 5PM, for all ages. The concessions are reasonable as well. You can have a fun family day at the movies without breaking the bank. Even the night shows are only $6 for adults. Kids are always $4 and students with id's, $4.50.

I'm very hesitant to say too many good things about the West Orange 5, because I'm afraid that it will become too popular! This is the best movie value in Orlando, and let me tell you, I have gone to theaters all over town. It may not be the biggest theater and it's certainly low on frills, but the staff is nice and the price is right. There is a frequent moviegoer program and specials for birthdays and seniors. Plus, the concession prices are reasonable. And there's a limited selection of beer and wine. I would much rather go to West Orange 5 than any other theater in this town, and that includes the big overpriced, overcrowded mall or attraction locations.
