This is a mediocre place ~~ it's not particularly clean and the viewing room is not good, either, as it's on the second floor and it's tough to see below you at times...the instruction is so-so, done by young girls. For the young preschoolers, it seems more like fun and play time than a real gymnastics class. The owner, Chelle Stack, is not usually friendly and the facility seems disorganized and poorly run, often with no one up front to supervise. Although when it comes to collecting tuition, they are definitely on the ball. What gets me is their 30 day drop policy. You have to pay an additional month tuition if you are unhappy there, rather than being allowed to finish out your month. They offer an "unlimited" class schedule, but at the end of the day, it's difficult to find classes which are age appropriate. The only real asset to the place IMO was Tony ,the male instructor who seemed great with the older gymnasts. I"m not sure that I would classify this place as "horrible" as others have indicated, but it certainly is not top notch.

This place has ripped me off. They do not teach proper technique and when consumers complain, they do not address the problem. The children are not properly supervised.

This has been a horrible experience. My child was harrassed by other students because no one was watching the children. They do not know anything about gymnastics. They are not open when they say they will be open. They do not want to provide receipts. They are rude. They are unprofessional. There are not enough horrible words to describe this place.

Chelle's is a good place to take your child. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly and my child loves it. The trial was free and I did not have to sign up until after she had tried it. They let me and my son tour the facility and we got to watch a class that was going on.

I definitely do not recommend this gym. They are very disorganized and always under staff. In addition they can never tell you if they will be having winter camp or fall camp until a few days or a week before. Even though I gave my 30 day notice they still overbilled me and I had to call to remind them of their mistake and I am still waiting for the refund 2 weeks later.

If you work at the gym and your kids go there is awesome however for those who pay the full price "The grass is definetely not always greener" and the customer service should be much better than what it is currently.

My daughter has attended Chelle Stack's gymnastics for three years. She is a team member and enjoy's attending this facility. Just like any business you sign up to attend you are required to sign a commitment. Any business owner would be silly not to have a payment authorization on file. I believe the reason Chelle has the payment agreement and 30 day drop notice requirement is that she holds a childs place in the enrolled class until she receives it. Thus, there are only a certain amount of spaces available for each class so if someone else is turned away due to maximum enrollment she is losing students. I am sure anyone that has owned a business would understand the policy. All policies are in writing and a parent is required to sign them upon registration. The forms are very clear about the policies. It is always good to read what you sign to avoid miscommunication later. Unfortunately it has been hard for Chelle to keep teachers due to college schedules. She is always open to any suggestions or recommendations that are realistic. It is definately not her wish to have such a high turnover. Chelle does have the interest of the children in mind but as an owner she unfortunately get's distracted with business situations. With all that said, I recommend Chelle Stack's gymnastics to anyone interested in having a positive experience. Read the agreements you sign. All she asks is that you hold up your end of the agreement. The grass is not always greener. I have heard there are many issues at other gyms in the area.

I have been at Chelle Stack's for a number of years now and have had two of my children in her program. I have never had problems with my billing, it has always been accurate, and billed when it was supposed to.
In regard to the comments about her 'stealing' money, I would recommend that those people read their contracts. It gives clear instruction on what must be done in order to stop being charged. One of my children chose to stop and I followed the contract and had absolutely no problems at all. It was not difficult at all, I only did what the contract stated I was required to do. The re-enrollment process is to update your information and pay the annual registration dues, but it is clear up front that you are not dropped from the program for failure to fill out the paperwork at registration time.
I have been at other gyms and will tell you that the coaching turn over is no worse (and often times better) at Chelle's than other gyms. It is almost impossible to run a business with no attrition, and is even more of a challenge when hiring college-age students. I'm sure that Chelle could hire more distinguished coaches at a higher salary, but then everyone would be complaining about the raise in monthly rates it would take to cover such an expense.
No gym (or business) is perfect, but I continue to be satisfied with the service I receive, and more importantly, the care and instruction that my daughter receives, at the hands of Chelle's capable coaches.

My daughter began with Chelle Stack's in March of 2005. In the 2 years my daughter went to this school, she went through 7 instructors, many different students (because most parents wised up sooner than me), and a couple of office managers. I kept hoping that the school would eventually get their act together. They didn't. After 2 years of my daughter attending this school, her instructor didn't even know her name. Her yearly evaluation hadn't been done and 4 months had passed since her 2 year anniversary. I decided I would not re-enroll my daughter at the school during Fall Enrollment. Got a call in late September telling me I owe for 2 mos of tuition. I told them I didn't re-register her for the fall, and they told me it didn't matter, that their "30-day cancellation" policy still applied even during re-registration. I told them that I wouldn't be paying, that I never got my money's worth from them, and they had stolen enough of my hard earned wages. I heard nothing from them since. Then last Friday, my father informed me that Chelle Stack's Gymnastics pulled out $295 from his bank account. Apparently they must have taken an old credit card receipt from my daughter's file and just used it to pay for the "back tuition", their free money since they did nothing, not that was any different from when my daughter was attending. They still have my daughter listed as a current student even after I told them that I didn't re-enroll her and my reasons why. Luckily my father's bank credited the money back to him while it is under investigation. My father plans to contact the local authorities this week about this. They had no right and no permission from us to pull money out. Luckily my father had the money in his account that it didn't change anything other than the bank balance he thought he had, but just imagine if it had been someone's account that couldn't afford it? These people are crooks in every sense of the word. They don't properly provide the service they promise, and they will STEAL from you if they choose to. They are very bad people. Stay away from them. My daughter will be starting at Broadway Gymnastics next week, and I have heard from friends of my daughter who go there that it is a very good school. It isn't that far from Chelle Stack's, and it is worth the extra miles. Whatever you do, don't send them to Chelle Stack's if you want them to learn anything about gymnastics and you want to keep your money from being stolen without your permission!

Chelle Stack is very good at what she does. Her staff is excellent and the facility is well run. There is a booth on one side so you can watch your children while they practice without being in the way (and distracting to the kids). But, the prices are of course high, like most other gymnastics programs. Still recommended!

Pros: None

Cons: They will steal your money and not teach your child anything.
