Bergmans European AutoWorks

I had been to the local dealer for an issue with my BMW burning oil and smoking. They quoted me over $900 to replace my "cyclone valve". I had Bergman's European check it out. They agreed that this valve was bad, and gave me an quote for a little over $500!!!! They fixed the car, and I have not had any smoking since. To the poster who liked the dealer better, have you even been to Bergman's?? They had a VERY nice waiting room, hot Starbucks coffee, and loaner cars. I'm very pleased with their prices and quality. I don't know what they could have done any better.

I agree with one of the previous posters regarding Bergmanns. Their costs aren't substantially lower than a dealership. Just head out to your BMW dealer, sit in a nice lounge or get a free loaner, drink some espresso and feel confident about spending your money.

This shop fixed my car after another shop did not. I brought my car to these guys, and initially thought they were wrong in what they found. I had my car fixed at another shop, but had the same problems a few days later. Went back to Bergman's, they did the work they originally quoted, and the car has been fine for a few weeks now. PROBLEM SOLVED! Thanks to Bergman's for putting up with me, I will not be such a jerk next time, I promise.

Great service and close to home. I waste to much time and money @$4.00 a gal to drive to the dealer in North Tampa. Excellent dealer alternative. I highly recommend them for imports

I was looking for a new shop for my Mercedes Benz and my wife's BMW. These guys advertise that they specialise in both of these cars. I stopped by at lunch to check them out, and they looked pretty good. I got a tour of the place, I think by the owner. They have a very clean shop. Not alot of people working there, I counted 4, but there were alot of cars. I had them do an oil change, and they showed me a few minor things on my car to keep an eye on, and gave me an estimate for a brake job they said I would need in 6 months or so. Overall, I liked this shop, and will go back.

I have been bringing my family's cars to Bergman's European for 4 years now, and have watched them grow, and move twice. They have put a ton of effort into the new shop, and it shows. They work on my Mercedes, my wife's BMW, and my kid's Honda and Toyota. They are a little more expensive than a chain/franchise tire or muffler shop, but I have never found them to be more expensive than the dealer. They quote me what they REALLY think my repairs will cost, not a low-ball figure to get me in the door. Often they help me to prioritize so I can budget, and do things on several trips as I can afford it. I just wanted to write something for them, since they have done such a good job over the years taking care of our cars. Several of my friends use them as well. Thanks for reading my post.

A friend referred me but when I got the estimate for repairs, I price shopped the dealer and found no savings. I wanted a local mechanic and a shop that could save me some money but this place was not it. Plus they are not open on the weekends and offered no loaner car while my car was in the shop

I have just moved to the area a few years ago, and have been looking for a good shop to service our BMW and Mercedes Benz. These guys have it all together. They were not the cheapest place I checked, but I like what they do, and how they do it. They seemed honest and knowledgable. Last time they found some things, brought them to my attention, but did not push me into fixing these things, but educated me instead. I like their approach,and will continue to use and recommend them.
