Good Homes Pre-School Inc

My daughter has been going to Good Homes Preschool since she was 4 months old and she's now 2 1/2. I would never dream of sending her elsewhere. The teachers are wonderful and there seems to be little employee turnover. The owners are always there and available. The lunches are warm and nutricious. They have always passed every state inspection.

My daughter began at 6 weeks, I looked everywhere for a daycare that I can feel comfortable leaving my pride and joy at and Good Home was it. The owner is there everyday, the staff members are excellent. Their very clean, the meals are good. My daughter has learned so much there. My daughter is now 6 and every time schools out I take my daughter back, she loves it there. She's already asking me when does she get to go back. My grandchildren even attends the school and there parent are very happy. I recommend them very highly.

My daughter is attending this daycare since she was 4-months old and I absolutely love it. She is now 2 years and I can see and test all the things she is learning at a light speed. The staff is friendly and caring for all these kids. They speak both languages, there might be some teachers that are hispanic but that doesn't mean they don't speak the language. In fact, it is extremely beneficial to have this balanced staff. My daughter is now speaking both languages and interacts with other children. They do really nice things and activities for the kids. The mom that says that the children go out once a month, obviously don't go often and talk the the teachers. I absolutely love the school and its staff.

My son now 8 1/2 years old started going to this school when he was 1 years old. I am a parent that doesn't trust anyone but family with my children and have trusted this school since day one. I trust the school so much when my daughter now 3 years old, started going here when she was 8 weeks old, and expecting my 3rd child October 2007 will also attend when she is 8 weeks old.

The school is very clean both my children have learned a lot. My son had a very good advantage when he started Kindergarden, because he had learned so much from the teachers at school. My daughter surprises me everday with different things she has learned. She will sing songs I never new she could, she is great with her colors and much more. I wouldn't trust any other day care as much as I do this one.

The owner of the school is there everyday along with the same teachers. My daughter has the same teachers that my son has which is wonderful, because I already know them. As for the parent talking about the children not getting to play outside that is incorrect because my daughter comes home with dirt on the seat of her pants from playing on the playground. Also they are wonderful at taking the kids on field trips and class parties. Also for birthdays they have parties for the children.

I recommend this school to all my friends and co-workers that every ask. I know the owner and staff put there hearts in this school and care for the children as if they where there own.

My 2 boys, 5.5 years-old and 2.5 years-old have gone to Good Homes Preschool since they were about 8 weeks old each. I have never felt uncomfortable or dissatisfied by the staff or conditions at the center. I have the utmost faith and trust in the ability of the director and staff.

The director truly loves each and every child that attends. I have known her and seen her on a daily basis for a little over 5 years and would wholeheartedly defend the center whenever necessary.

All this is coming from someone who has never left either of her two children with anyone else (other than family). I have never felt comfortable leaving my boys with a babysitter. Yet, I feel completely confident having them in the constant care of the staff at Good Homes Preschool.

My oldest son has excelled educationally. He has been about a year ahead of his peers that don't attend this preschool. He is socially and educationally very well-adjusted thanks to a great program at Good Homes Preschool.

I could literally go on forever singing the praises of this wonderful program and the "family" that have taken awesome care of my most valued possessions!

I'm an ex employee of Good Homes Preschool and I can honestly say that all those horrible things that were written about the school are completely false. I had a wonderful experience working there for almost four year's.I was the Assistant teacher for the three year old classroom and loved it. We took the kids out everyday twice a day, they watch Movies every Thursday afternoon for 2 hours max, and they ate very healthy (warm) meals which consisted of a meat, vegetable, fruit and milk. They also have two snacks though out the day. The children also take naps and they all have their own blanket and mat which are provided by the school and are cleaned and sanitized constantly. Well I think I have said enough even though I can keep on and on. All I'm going to say is I would recommend this school to anyone.. The children are safe and their around professionals. And as you can read both the teacher and the Assistant (Me) speak perfect English......

This school opened 15 years ago and under the same owner, has been a second home to many children and families. Many of its children began at only 6 weeks of age as did their siblings, and either attended until they began Kindergarten or were in the Before and After School program until the age of 12. Those families to this day visit and some have other family member and even grandchildren attending now. Its owner IS there everyday. She is VERY picky about who works there and how things are done. The entire school is cleaned on a daily basis and more than once per day. Every child's class goes outside twice per day, unless it is wet or storming, in which case they take a walk under the covered walkway. At least one teacher per classroom has a degree in Early Childhood Education which is very difficult to obtain without at least some grasp of the English language. And a person who writes "They don't speak English GOOD" is in no position to judge another's proficiency in any language. And most of the teachers have been there for over a decade! The Health Department visits several times per year. The very public DCF daycare inspection records can be seen by anyone. I checked them. And this school has never been re-inspected for a violation contrary to some other daycares in the area. Food is never served straight out of a can, and lunch is always served warm expect for the dessert. I doubt the children would enjoy hot apple slices. The comment about changing diapers in the kitchen is so ridiculous I won't even address it. As for Barney, it is a learning program that the children get to enjoy once per week for one hour. There 2 TV's in the entire school and neither are kept in a classroom. Finally, I was there the day of the incident with the dog. It was NOT a stray dog. The dog belonged to a parent who brought it to the front office while waiting for their child to come out of his class and the dog came loose. Everyone around did their best to catch the dog before it went into a classroom. No children were left unattended. I feel very blessed to be a part of this school and challenge anyone to find a school more closely monitored, attended to and whose children are more loved by its owner and staff than this one.

In regards to the 2 dissatisfied moms, I love the school, Everyone is friendly, It's not dirty, they go outside twice a day and if its raining they take a walk outside around the mall where they are protected. On the planners inside the classroom you will see the schedule they go outside 2 times a day and they don't just watch Barney, reason being, I started to teach my two year old his colors and before I would say the name of the color he would yell out the name of a different color, although the answer was wrong he heard the names of these colors at school because i did not teach them yet. I love it, its great they even have a Thanksgiving dinner where they hired a caterer serve the children and two guest a healthy and hearty meal.

THIS SCHOOL WAS VERY UNCLEAN, THEY WALKED IN A STRAY DOG W/ NO REGARDS IF ANYONE WAS ALLERGIC TO THE STRAY DOG, ALL THE TEACHERS CAME OUT OF THEIR ROOMS AND LEFT THE CHILDREN UNATTENDED TO SEE THE STRAY PUPPY. THEY DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH GOOD. THE HEALTH DEPT. NEEDS TO MAKE A SCHOOL VISIT.
DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Noone there speaks english. Very dirty classrooms. Huge playground however they only let the kids play outside once a month. Instead of playing outside they have the kids watch barney. They change the diapers in the kitchen area of the classroom and they serve food straight out of the cans without even warming it up. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
