Just Puppies

I visited this place today. I picked up 6 of 12 puppies and all had stitches from ingenial hernia operations. This is a clear sign the puppies are purchased from Puppy Mills.

I bought two italian greyhounds, Cheechee and Kuki, from Just Puppies and have had no problems with them. Could not be any happier. It is a great place to get your puppy from.

I drove about 2 hours to come into Orlando for the main purpose of purchasing a dog from JustPuppies. I was soo excited and soo positive I was going to come home with a new puppy. Boy did that change. I walked into the store and it was horrible! Dirty, smelly and the staff was rude and didn't give you the time of day. The guy that was there seemed as though the didn't care one bit about ANY of the dogs. He would yell and scream at them, hit their so-called "cages" when he walked by and worst of all, many of the dogs looked very sick. As a matter of fact, I had a dog throw up on me an no one seemed to care. Their explination was "they have been handled too much today" and my thoughts were: why in the heck don't you do something about that and monitor how much they are handled if you KNOW that they will get sick!! Also, the place seemed like a rip off. I have been to MANY MANY other dog stores to look at purchasing a puppy and they were helpful, they would answer any questions you had.. But not here! When I tried asking the guy a few questions about the dog, he wouldn't even look at me! My boyfriend and I were also told 2 different prices for the same exact dog (I'm guessing they need to get their story straight) I simply told the guy that I was told $499 not $599 and he rolled his eyes, looked away from me and said "Yeah, I doubt that". I'm sorry, but that is anything but good customer service. I own my own business and I wouldn't dare even think about talking or treating someone what that sort of hostility. Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE!!

My son and I went to the Orlando store and I really feel sorry for the puppies there. Even thou they look healthy the store is horrible and did not invite me to buy a puppy. My thought was " if they don't care about the appearance of the store, how do they really care about the puppies?". Also, not friendly staff.

I got a beautiful fawn pug at just puppies what a great by and what great people, they have healthy dogs from a top breeder near you, my puppy is now 6 moths old, what more can i ask for, he is health and cute.

I bought my puppy from Just Puppies at the cassleberry store..She came home on a Friday, and I took her to the vet 2 hours later for her free vet check. Everything seemed fine.By Monday, she was so sick, she had mucus coming out of her nose, gagging, coughing and sneezing. I took her back to the vet (they did not charge me since I was just there) and she had 2 bacteria. One was E COLI and a Respiratory infection. She was on 2 different antibiotics and a nebulizer treatment 3 times a day that I had to do in my home. )do NOT get a dog from Just puppies unless you are fully prepared to take care of a sick dog.

I could not submit this review without a star. My choice would have been a minus as many as there are in the sky.
My family purchased a Cavalier King Charles spaniel from Just Puppies in Casselberry on Father's Day, February 15, 2008. This puppy was sick the day we brought her home. She did go into pnemonia but it was not because of kennel cough. She was diagonsed last month with EColi and 2 other forms of the bacteria. This was after months and months of antibiotics, visits to the vet, and hospitalization. We spent thousands of dollars to get her well. Right now we are watching with guarded optimism that she will be ok. She has also been diagnosed with hip displacia, and a soft palate, among other things. The breeder was from MO, and will not supply any other puppies to the state of Florida if I have anything to do with it. We brought all documents to Just Puppies attention, and we are still waiting to hear. However in the mean time, I am filing a formal complaint to the State of Florida for the practices conducted at Just Puppies.

LONG and very expensive story short, i bought a very ill puppy from them knowing it was about to die of pneumonia unless i took her away the day i came in. i immediately took her to the vet, and the vet was enraged at the condition of my dog. she was on medication for 6 months for kennel cough that was left untreated and got so bad it turned into pneumonia. now she has juvenile cataracts and is only 3. i never saw that in her genetic history papers! they refused to pay all of her medical bills, and only paid like $75 out of the thousands i spent. thankfully now my dog is loved and very happy but i hate to think what other horror stories have come from this place.

We had been looking for weeks for a small female light fawn colored chinese pug. We looked at some breeders and rescues, but nothing was right. We found Just Puppies online and went for a look to see. They had just received a shipment of puppies. OMG
six chinese pugs to choose from. One female captured our hearts.
We bought her, took her home and named her Pumpkin. The first few days at home were a little rough. She did not eat and cried all night. Two days later we were a little woried because she started coughing and sneezing. We went to vet they recommended and she recieved treatment for free. We also took her to a vet in our neighborhood to get a second opinion. Just Puppies reimbursed us for that as well. Now she is back to normal and we could not live without her. The people at Just Puppies were very helpfull. We will be going back to get Pumpkin a friend.

I compared Just Puppies to other breeders in Orlando. They have a nice selection of purebreds and mixes. I liked being able to play with the dogs.

After a few visits I decided on an Affenpinscher. Now he's part of the family.

We've bought our min pin and our dachshund there. Absolutely the best dogs ever! It's our kids favorite place. We go back and visit often just to play with their new puppies.

While I'm very happy with the beagle I purchased from them in July '05, I've noticed something in the visits I've made there: they're only in it for the money., they could careless about the actual animals. Whatever yo do, do not miss your vet check up in those three days after buying the puppy, just in case!
