I've visited here more times than I can remember. Walking along the streets at Old Town, one feels as though they might be walking through a town in a western movie. The old-fashioned set-up invokes this feeling. There are so many shops, some obvious tourist traps, while others are a bit more unique. Ice cream shops, taffy pulls, t-shirt air brushing...you'll find it all and so much more here at Old Town. There is an area in the back of Old Town featuring carnival-type rides for the kids, while the front area boasts bungee jumping, a ferris wheel, a bungee swing, go karts, and several other rides. Certain nights they have old car shows, and people bring their classic cars around to show off. Walk along the cobblestone streets and enjoy the music wafting through the air as you take in all that this quaint town has to offer.

Old Town is located in Kissimmee, Fl right on 192 at around International Drive. You can't miss it...especially at night. It's all lit up to attract visiters. It reminds me of a carnival, only stationary, and has just tons of bars, restaurants, and specialty shops.

The rides are really nothing special. Right off the highway are the big boys. The Century Ferris Wheel is 60 feet tall and you can see for miles from the top of it. There is the Happy Days Family Go-Kart Track which is great for the kiddies. Pharaoh's Fury is one of those big swings that go back and forth. This one goes 60 feet in the air at a rate of 20 feet per second, which I think is par for the course on any swinging thingy like that. The best is Old Town Slingshot, which is one of those bungie kinda rides: Catapult 365 feet in the air while suspend by bungy cords!. They do also have a simulation kinda drag racing ride that is supposed to be really hairy.. but I couldn't talk 'The Male' into getting on it.

In the back of the place are the main kiddie rides and carnival games. Here they have a Merri-go-round, tea cups, Frog Hopper, bumper cars, and a Dragon Wagon Kiddie Coaster. Ride tickets are $1.00 each, with the rides needing more than one ticket depending on how big it is... but you can get an all-day pass for $20.

In between the two ride areas are wonders galore. There are far too many shops to list them all, although I did go into each and every one of them. They have Funky Boutique where you get a free pair of fishnet stockings with $100 purchase; Giddy Gatherings is full of humerous t-shirts and gifts (they also do air brushing); Groovy Store is a bunch of 60s era stuff like black light candles and tie-dyed clothing; Nora's Gifts is full of Florida souvenirs and novelties; There's a leather shop, a sunglass shop, a Sock Exchange; Tiki Jim's is island apparel and swim suits; Cutlery, a rock shop, and Father Time is just way beyond cool.

I'm out of room.. Highly Recommend!

PROS: Plenty to do for all ages
CONS: Some may not like all the bars at night...
