The doctor is very good. He listens, he is knowledgeable, and caring. But the office manager is the opposite. I live on the southside and continued to make the drive 40 minutes away to the northside because of the doctor and the lady that groomed my dog. The lady at the front desk was not very welcoming. I gave them my business from 2004 until my dog passed on Sept 4, 2013 at the age of 11. My daughter found our dog and was upset and called the office. The manager Sheila was short and uncaring and offered no advice. My daughter called Briarcliff Vet on Southside and they were very compassionate and express sorrow and concerned and all we have ever done in that office was buy our beloved dog his special food. They recommended Paw Print and they were also wonderful! I spent a lot of money and time at Dunn Avenue Animal Hospital. They knew how much we loved our dog. It has been 6 days since he passed and I have not even heard from them. Especially since I was supposed to bring him in on Thursday and he died on Wednesday. So they were expecting him and knew that he died because my daughter phoned them for advice and all Sheila could say was, "I am here for the next hour, you can come and drop him off." Drop him off?! Not I am sorry, or are you okay, or here is what you can do. Really? Nine years you knew my Tuesday(my Chihuahua"s name) and no sympathy.

Let me start with the office manager/part owner. The older lady who sits at the desk, glasses, might give you an attitude or look at you stupid when you ask a question. This lady will get an attitude with a client in front of other

Finally I found a vet who takes the time to listen and understand my dogs problems. I had been all over town to no avail, but they finally diagnosed our dog and cured her. They actually did blood tests and xrays while I was waiting. Waffle had kidney stones, they scheduled surgery immeditely and she was better in 2 days. All I needed was someone who would take the time and listen. I will continue to drive the 40 miles whenever my pets need a doctor again.

I went to this clinic with my sick cat. The staff was rude and uneducated. The doctors medicine was very out dated and he did very little diagnostics. My cat would have died had I not brought it to a better clinic that actually knows how to read xrays and perform proper bloodwork. It is also in a bad location. Do not take your pet here at any costs.

Cons: service, education, location, staff, diagnostic testing
