Same thing happened to me, only he missed that every electrical wire was removed at my electrical panel also all the copper plumbing lines were gone too. On there inspection they marked it all as working properly. 20K later on wire piping and an electrician. Mr. Todd says that they don't have the time to locate the electrical wires and advised me to hire an electrician because " It sounds like you have a lot of work ahead of you." Also having to take legal action which is a shame in the hard times we have.
I used Todd Homes for inspection and they missed sooo many problems it prompted me to get a lawyer to sue him soon in 2011. I found out my home had a fire in it and they MISSED the charred wood on 10 rafters on my roof and missed old knob and tube wiring in a kitchen light that was not working when inspected. These are just a few of the many problems they missed. BEWARE!!! Save you money and go somewhere else. They need to be shut down and I'm woking on that!.
I was very pleased with the inspection, he was thorough, he sat and told me what was wrong and how long it would be before I needed a new roof. He sent a report via e-mail, I have taken his suggestions to heart and repaired what needed done.
