It's listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Pink-and-white striped window canopies, wrought-iron balconies, terra-cotta tiled floors and intimate patio cafe add to its romantic ambience. Multilingual staff will help with tours, dinner reservations or trips to Lincoln Road Mall. One of the most popular nightclubs on South Beach is directly across the street; the beach is two blocks away.

I just spent a week at the Clay. The rooms are small, but, you are not paying for a large room. They are very clean and offer a great value. If you enjoy spending your travel budget on expensive hotels then you should stay somewhere else, but, if you like the convience of being in the center of the action without breaking the bank stay at the Clay! Many fine shops, clubs and restaurants are only steps away.
