The staff were immature and had a 'know it all' attitude. They half listened to my son's issue and were inconsiderate.

I do not recommend this office or this doctor.

I went to this doctor on several occasions for an eye exam for contacts and for a special situation.

I am disatisfied with my exams and was misdiagnosed. Bayhill "doc" said I had a wart on my eye lid. I asked if it was just a swollen meibomian gland, he said he was sure it was a wart. I went to get 2-2nd opinions. Both 2nd opinions were acutal MD's and agreeded it was a blocked gland and would resolve on it's own. Bayhill "doc" wanted me to see his specialist to have eyelid surgery.

My exams at Bayhill were the quickest and shortest I've ever had which could explain why I was misdiagnosed. The staff were unable to provide detailed information, and made up answers. They stalled and tried to cover up that they didn't know what they were doing.

Beware: Following an exam they heavily push and encourage shopping even if you don't need anything. You actually have to walk through the sales area to check out. The focus in this office it to sell you glasses, contacts and accessories, instead providing an accurate exam.

They offered me trail contacts in a size that didn't really fit right and told me if I liked how they felt they could get me some in the correct fit. They assured me the ones they ordered for me would be my correct size. They weren't, and it turns out they aren't even available in my size. Instead of refunding me they offered me a credit so I could come back and buy more of something else. This was frustrating, because I was happy with what I was wearing when I came into the office. They were persistent on getting me to switch brands and try these new improved contacts, that were also $10 more a box than my old ones. I took their advice and I should not have listened to them.

They blamed me for the mistake. They were rude and I was told later that they were discussing and laughing about the whole thing behind the counter while I was with the doctor at a follow up.

If you like to spend money and care more about how you look than your health this might be the doctor for you. They pretend to offer more than they really do. As long as you are spending money in their office they are your best friend, if you have questions or problems they are your worst enemy. I've worn glasses or contacts pretty much my whole life and this is the worst office I've ever been too.

I was very nervous to go to the eye doctor for the first time since moving to Florida. The people that helped me and the doctor that took care of me were all amazing. They made me feel very comfortable!
