The place looked nice but when I ordered whole wheat spaghetti I was told there was a $4 upcharge for it. Seriously? In a restaurant where the average age is about 60, you slap people with a $4 charge for simply getting whole wheat,

I took my 3 little kids and their grandparents to Dominic's II and the kids food came out 30 minutes late. Usually, that would mean lots of apologies from the waiter and manager... not at this place. The waiter says talk to the manager... the manager says, you'll have t talk to your waiter about that... and not only do they charge us for the kids food, but they also charge an 18% gratuity to the check. Talk about Spaghetti and SLEAZEBALLS! I will NEVER go there again. If you are considering it... don't... Nino's is just up the street (at Powerline and Palmetto) and not only do they have better food, they're a heck of a lot nicer and more professional.

Pros: Can't think of any now

I just had to comment and disagree on the previous comment. I always choose Dominic's of Boynton Beach specifically for their friendly service. Considering I also have children it is very hard to find a friendly restaurant environment. The staff is extremely friendly, and as far as Dominic the owner (I don't know him personally), but he has always been friendly and willing to help out. It bothers me when somebody will go out of their way to put down an establishment for no reason.

After reading this, it actually sounds more like a former employee who is retaliating.

I assure you the food is great and the staff is extremely friendly.

The food and staff is better at Vito's then in Boynton. The owner Dominic was walking around with a drink in his hand introducing himself...why I dont know because he should have been in an AA meeting by the sounds of it. The food is good but takes a very long time to come out and the service was ok but there was this one server who kept cursing which I found very inappropriate seeing I had my little ones with me, but after seeing how management talks to them I can see why they spoke like that. I wont return it puts a sour taste in my mouth. I will go to Vito's at Dominic's II in Boca still even though Dominic still owns that one at least he isnt there as much from what I notice.

I love the pizza because is freshly prepared, thin crust, enough cheese and spices. The pasta dishes are big. My favorite is the fried calamari, cooked perfectly, not overcooked, fresh, just the way it sould be, generous portion served with lemon and sauce. I just can't get enough, I can't wait to go back and savor them. I recommend it. The best pizza I've found, I live in NW Broward and go to Boca to enjoy the food at Italian Restaurant (not the service). I've been going here for about 2 1/2 yrs and never dissapointed with the food. The service is not as great, since waiters I've had always take so long to take my order, refill, forget the garlic rolls included in the pasta dishes, not bring the kids menu (I have a child), etc. In short not attentive. But just for the food I return.

After remodeling the New York Style Pizzaria into a beautiful romantic restaurant, i've become drawn to going there as much as possible. The staff is delightful and the food is out of this world!
