From the moment I saw the rock in the truck I ordered I knew it was less than I paid for. I have several years of landscape experience and know rock quite well. Not to mention I have had 3 Yards of rock delivered to my house 6 times since 2002. I got ripped off an estimated 1 yard of granite out of the 3 I paid for. I drove to the business after the driver seemed not so good with customers. The management is no better!!! They were not willing to own up to any shortage or even the chance that they may have made a mistake. I reccomend you treat them with a lack of trust before you pay that way they may do you right! There mulch loader is a much more accurate yard than the machine they use for rock. I saw it first hand.

I ordered 3 yards of granite rock. I have re-done my driveway every two to 3 years (for extra work fleet vehicles) Before I begin, I also have 7 years experience locally in Jacksonville Florida for Landscaping and 5years as a foreman. Without any doubts I know what the universal 3 yards is. They arrived at my home as agreed, as they seemed to have plenty of availability and that was nice. I own a company and my manager happen to see the load before it was dumped. He worked concrete & landscaping in Miami several years. He knew right away he was looking at 2 yards of rock. As I was beside the driver and him beside the cab he was quickly wanting a signature. My manager came to me and said you better take a look and I did not know but he already questioned the driver immediately about them forgetting the other yard. So I thought because my order was updated from two to three yards (so I may have extra rather than running short), that could have caused confusion. Thats the type of person I am. I always like to extend the benefit of any doubts. So I looked before he dumped and looked him square and said that does not look like 3 yards. I know rock pretty good. He was not at all concerned that in my gut I got ripped off. Nor did he attempt to explain why it was clearly short of three yards. So My manager and I drove to the place and spoke with a person of authority. He too did not even care about our concern. He did not as much as make good eye contact. So after asking to see the loaders size one man reluctantly pointed us at the machine (not the authoritive but another guy all together. We looked at the two machines they use and knew right away what was up. They have a good yard size for mulch and the machine they use for rock is much smaller. I assume they can impress customers with the mulch and make up profit on the rock. That makes sense more than anything else I can conclude. Also there was a lot of peat rock debris mixed in with the granite I purchased which is supposed to be premium rock. So I will suggest if you want to buy rock here you may want to show concern about quantity before you agree to pay for anything. I recieved much more Rock from another company in town the last two times I boought from them. When my wife gets home shes going to notice and she too has a right to leave a review since she helped pay for this rock. We have done this SAME AREA 6 Times now and have always ordered 3 Yards! Wow we got ripped off......

If you are in need of mulch or anything for your yard and have the means to pick it up yourself, this is the place to go. My husband and I bought 3 yards of red mulch for $25/yard. If you don't know how much a yard is, just know that 2 1/2 barely fit in the back of his Dodge Ram Truck and we had to get a credit for the other 1/2. They also have a wide selection of beautiful plants and other items for the yard. Skip those high-end, marked up retailers and go here.
