When my kitty got very sick and was diagnosed with leukemia, we were made to believe he could be treated and return home. We kept him for there for 2 days and on the 3rd day a completely different doctor that we had never seen before told us there was no reason to hold on. He would be very sick up until he died and would likely not fully recover. He recommended putting him to sleep. This was news to us and we would have done it the first day rather than keep him in a strange place for nearly 3 days where he suffered and was poked and prodded. Not to mention the $2,000 bill we got for his hospitalization. I've told many people that story and every single one say the same thing: The vet would likely have known that very first day that no amount of treatment was going to help my kitty. He was extremely sick and obviously the disease was well advanced.\n\nEven after all of that, nearly 2 years later I decided to take my other kitty in to get her vaccines and test for leukemia. We called to make an appointment and it was for later the same day, however my son was napping and the appointment was about the time he'd wake up. We asked if we could drop her off an hour and a 1/2 early and they said ""Not an issue."" So I asked a neighbor to keep an eye on my son while he napped and I put my kitty through the stress of taking her to the vet only to find out they wanted to charge me a $20 ""day care fee"" for dropping her off an hour and a 1/2 early. They obviously never mentioned this on the phone just minutes before I brought her in. I told them no thank you and walked out. The vaccines were way overpriced anyway, so I'll be taking my pets somewhere more honest and affordable.

I had an emergency on a Sunday when my dog collapsed. I called up this place and all they were concerned was about money not my dog health but money. I took my dog there and they told me that she needed surgery and or I could put her to sleep. They did not seem to eager to help me. I told them to do the surgery and they were taking their time and having me fill out paperwork for money. In the meantime my dog was dying while they were more concerned about money. I paid these people and I was sitting in the waiting room eagerly waiting o find out what was going on with my dog. The Receptionist came back and told me to go home and wait for the vet to call me. I told her I've had my dog for 11 years and i was not leaving and they kept on insisting that I leave. They basically forced me out of their office even though I was paying for service and waiting to see my dog even if it was for the last time I wanted my dog to leave this place knowing I was there until the end. Within 30 minutes they called and said my dog was dying and the she would not make it. I told them i was on my way back there and that i would be there in 10 minutes, then they said that my dog had stopped breathing and died. I would never recommend this place. This place is only open on Sundays for Your Money! Not to help you and your Pets!. If you have an emergency with a pet you love dont go here!!!

Dr. Hamilton goes out of his way to make certain the pet parent understands any problems. He is very knowlegable and diagnosed my cat's condition without tests. Too bad I didn't find this office before I spent $250 at another vet. His staff is also great.

Pros: Caring, professional, great bedside manner.
