(I rarely use the internet but I came across this and had to respond.. even if it is late)

In regards to the first post - From an employee there that day and the day of the return call:

Businesses beware of this customer.

Arrived with her dogs on a Saturday, dropped them off and came in a few hours later to see if they were ready - they were not at that point. The customer then wanted to pay as she would not be picking them up.

Upon grooming the dog, yes, the injury was discovered. However, this was before anything was done to the Head and Face area. It was noted on the ticket, and - as you can see by the picture - the area was left untouched. Anyone who has had a dog groomed knows that the area by the eyes is always shaved or thinned out. Also, the injury already appeared to be a few days old as it had scabby edges and was very dry. (As you see in the picture). She never bothered to take the dog to the vet and had a third dog at home, who was not brought in to the shop that day, which she claimed later on the phone that her other dog was now afraid of.

The injury was reported to the customers friend who came to pick up the dogs. This person was on their cellphone the entire time and was just there to pick up the dogs and go.

The customer called back over the weekend asking to speak to someone (the owner was in the hospital and not avaliable) and when she was spoken to the next open business day she absolutely INSISTED that the injury happened in the shop and would not hear otherwise. The customer kept saying we were lying, repeatedly, and then she even threatened with the fact she worked for the police department and was going to have the matter investigated!

There are two sides to every story.

The groomers badly cut my Yorkie on top of his nose when they were grooming him and lied about it trying to cover it. There was two dry blood spots stuck on the fur on the top of his nose and when confronted they denied it. The manager would not speak with me on this issue and I was denied proper customer service. Because of this salon my Yorkie now acts very weird and does not want to socialize with the other house pets and hides under the sofa all day. He growls at the other dogs when they come near and try to lick his scar. Very unprofessional staff who avoid admitting their errors and correcting the problem.

While I really like the location of the pet salon, it can be at times be hard to find a place to park during the day. It's best to call way in advance, and get the earliest appointment available. They take care of your pet! Alot of pampering for your pooch, they come out smelling delicious! Best for small breeds.
