The true reflection of the quality of any demotorsportsaler or retailer is the behavior after the sale. This is where Greater Motorsports of WPB has a serious problem. The sales (Matt Shallbetter), parts (Justin Bivins) and finance (Jimmy Silvestri) staff go to extraordinary lengths to take care of a customer, but their service staff (Kyle Babin, Assistant Service Manager and Kurt Reickel, Service Manager) are the most incompetent and disrespectful staff at any dealership or retailer I have ever encountered. As a manager and sales trainer myself for many years, I understand that your customers reflect the way you treat them. If the manager is angry or yells at the customer, the customer will mirror the manager. If you are respectful, calm and knowledgeable the customer feels confident that you are there to make sure their needs are met and exceed expectations. This is where the Service Manager, Kurt Reickel lacks any of those abilities from his emotional outbursts of yelling at a customer (me!). Assistant Service Manager, Kyle Babin cannot make any decision without speaking to Kurt Reickel and is not even competent enough to find a battery draw (He tested it himself with a Fluke Multimeter, his words!). Before the battery issue, the service department replaced the rear tire and did not follow the service manual recommendations and as a result put my life in jeopardy. Then refused the repair, denying everything and had to tow the bike 101 miles to get competent service that had to replace practically the whole rear end of the bike, including the wheel, swingarm and many other major parts. At 5k miles Greater Motorsports did the service and at 10k I find out through a competent dealer that they messed up my oil drain plug and now have another major repair to deal with because of the complete incompetence of Greater Motorsports service staff! Overall I would recommend you avoid Greater Motorsports of WPB because they are really nice about taking your money but when it comes to taking care of a customer after the sale, when you really need them, they fail totally! Stay away and save yourself the headaches of an incompetent service staff!

this is for the new location in jupiter - Greater Motorsports of Jupiter. I had a 2004 fx140 waverunner serviced/tuned (june 26-29th 2012) - that weekend, on July 1st after 30 minutes on the water - mostly at no wake to get over to and out of the inlet - it started misfiring (launched from phil foster park - singer island) -we shut it down, towed it back to the ramp, drove it home and upon opening up the seat/cowling found a broken spark plug with the threads still stuck in the motor. I take it back the next business day and am told not only was there no way it was their fault ...but that my wife and i are liars and that we messed with it by lifting the seat and plastic cowling to look at it ...and that its going to be a very expensive fix. full story on my experience is online here...so you can be informed - http://www.mindharbor.com/yamaha-waverunner-palm-beach-jupiter-tequesta.asp

I was attempting to buy a Victory Motorcycle. I was quoted by the sales manager an out the door price on a brand new 2011 model. I then was quoted a trade in amount for my bike. When I was ready to buy I went back to do the deal and all the numbers changed. Less for my trade in and more, alot more for the out the door price on the bike. I couldn't believe it. I told them what I was quoted before and they would not honor it. I was also willing to over look that the bike is a demo and is now used with a few minor flaws, but they still would not work a deal. I heard Greater Yamaha was like this but decided to give them a shot anyway. I now see why all my friends bought their Victory's from Best Buy Victory in Ft. Pierce. They told me Greater Yamaha does not deal and just plays games and wastes your time, now I believe it! This experience left a terrible taste in my mouth for Victory Motorcycles. I think I will just stick with Harley Davidson.
