The staff is very disrespectful, they accuse you of child abuse if you don't agree with their methods. This office is a nightmare, it really needs to be shut down and reported.

My kids have been patients with Lake Mary Peds for about 4 years. I love the doctors. The Admin staff is horrible. They are very snotty and rude. I recently have had to change to a different pediatrics office and I have not been able to obtain my childrens medical records. After waiting 3 weeks for the records, and follow up calls from the new pediatrics office, I called to ask what the delay was. I was told that I was not a concern to them because they have 19,000 other patients to take care of. Still no records as of today.

They were fabulous with my son and noticed that he might be high functioning autistic at a ferry early age. Then they were able to give my child his vaccines on a separated one dose schedule. I had to pay extra for the special one dose vials but they got them for me and I am very happy with everything and everyone there. Several friends now use them.

I would never recommend this practice. My eldest daughter had a high fever a few years ago and I took her in twice because I was so worried about her. They sent me home both times saying there was NOTHING that they could do. Her hair started falling out a month later. What tops it of is when she started middle school, they pushed the Gardasil vaccine and I refused. Then when my youngest daughter started middle school this year, they tried to bully me into getting the Gardasil vaccine for her (I was expecting it). I again refused. I received a certified letter a week later stating that they could no longer treat my daughters. They seem to be more worried about my co-pay than my daughters' health. I highly recommend Solantic. I have never had a bad experience there.

We have been going to Lake Mary Pediatrics for 19 years straight. We have five children, ages 19, 16, 8, 6, and 5 years of age. Dr. Miles Landis, his colleagues, and all his staff are all top notch. We have always been treated with the up most professional, 100% empathetic care and treatment.

Dr Landis is not only a superb, respected doctor, but he is also a wonderful, kind, and caring person as well, and treats us all like family.

Respectfully,
Mrs. Carolyn M. Blake

My son, now 4 years old, has been seen by Lake Mary Pediatrics physicians since birth. I recently switched health insurance carriers and the new carrier wanted the old carrier to provide them a form (which took forever). I had already called Lake Mary pediatrics and explained the situation. Long story short, I received certified mail signed by every doctor in the practice that my son would no longer be seen because of a $33 late payment that was paid by the insurance company just a couple days later. I can't believe they would treat their patients this way.

I switched my children to this pediatric office a few years ago after a bad experience with another pediatrician in the area. I like that they are always able to fit the children in the day that I call. I don't have to wait days to be seen like other offices. There is also limited wait time in the waiting room. The kids love to watch the train go around the room and there is usually a movie on the multiple tv's. The office staff, nurses and doctors have always made me feel comfortable. I feel I can trust what they tell me and they are always willing to explain things that I don't quite understand. The nurses and doctors speak to the children about what is wrong and how they feel instead of expecting me to be able to accurately explain the pain my children are feeling. My children are very comfortable with the doctors at this practice.

I started to go to them back in 2002. The team of docters are great. They are very professional but down to earth and family oriented. I have been there a few times and they have waived my co-pay/ office visit fee. They are quick to get me in when my kids are sick and I think they are awesome!!! they are amazing.

I started using this Pediatricians office in October of 2003 (after our 2nd child was born). I had already decided against the Prevnar and the chicken pox vaccine for my daughter and wanted to do the same for my son. When it got time for him to have the Prevnar shot (4 months), the doctor I saw tried to scare me into getting it for him by saying "Won't you feel bad if he died from meningitis?" When I told the same doctor at my daughter's 3 year check up that I was not getting her the chicken pox, he proceeded to tell me about the flesh eating bacteria she could get if she got the chicken pox and how she could die, etc. Then he said that their policy is that if children are not up to date on all their shots, then you are asked to find another practice. I feel like most of the doctors at this practice do not respect the parents wishes on things they do not agree with.

PROS: Waiting room nice. Nurses helpful and polite.
CONS: All but 2 of the doctors use scare tactics to get you to do what they want.
