Raspberries

I felt like I was at Regis or something, which is somewhat ghetto in my eyes after my one experience there. I don't have a lot of money to spend, but I want good work so I pay what I have to. I got a cut, color, and some highlights underneath all for $175, which is a great deal. I'm especially happy with the cut, I'm trying to grow my hair out but I want some style and Cary (Gary?) did a great job.

Unfortunately, he did not consult with me on the color I wanted. I said I'd like almost black on top, and he went with a reddish brown much lighter than I explained. I now have to go back, god only knows when I will have time, to have darker color put on. Then sit there and sit and listen to crap music in a boring environment. It was a decent place but seemed a bit generic somehow.

It's a good value overall, but make sure you ask a lot of questions and be confident in what you want from them. Not for timid people. Also, I don't know that they are very visionary. Make sure you have an idea and pictures before you go in. They can get the job done for less than the more elite places, and it is still good quality. I didn't get any neck massage or anything, nor was I offered a drink (it was after 6 so I figured coffee would be bad anyway, but I had to ask for water) but whatever.

HORRIBLE!! Beware, before you make an apointment read these reviews. It was the most unprofessional and dirty salon I have ever been to. Salon of the stars???? No way. That salon doesnt even deserve a half of star. Most of the workers looked like like they were off the street and homeless, there was no uniform and they did not even offer me a smock!. Have you ever heard of the color yellow-orange, great for a crayon, but not for hair!! I went in for highlights and before I know it my hair was bright orange. The "man" told me that he knew I wanted a free hair cut (fartheset from my mind) and yelled at me, saying "oh here come the water works." Anyone who had the color of my hair would have cried too. Instead of accomodating thier customers he fought with me! The owner was polite and tried to fix it, it is not as bad but still very orange. I am embarrased to go to outside. I am beyond disgusted and I would like everyone to spread the word.
