I took a sofa cover and skirt along with the seat and back cushion covers for dry cleaning. I was verbally quoted $30 for the cover $10 for both seat covers and $16.95 for both back covers. I thought it was high and asked to speak to the manager. The man said he could not do better than the $57. I decided to leave the stuff and was told it would be ready in a week. The receipts I was given just said the number of items and .00 in the amount of money. When I went on Sept. 2nd there was a line of customers. A lady whom I later learned was the owner, Ellen Friedman, told me to approach her counter. She then moved to the side, behind a wall and took a drink which spilled out of a cup. I pulled out the receipts which were given to me in a small ""Mark's"" envelope. Seeing that she ignored me, I stood behind others at the counter and waited my turn. I was told I owed $97 and changed. I told the young lady that wasn't what I was quoted. The owner grabbed her purse and started to walk out. I asked her to please help me with the problem and she said ""they would handle it"" , as she continued to go get in her car and leave. I asked the young lady if there wasn't the gentleman manager that I had spoken to when I dropped of the clothes. She said he was on vacation and went in with my pink slips (with no amount of money). Another lady came out and showed me that their copy of the pink slips had the word ""each"" written in pen. Again, I asked her to help me and she said they could not change any amount. She left the counter and then a third lady came whose name is Veronica Leon.. She slammed her greasy hand on the plastic covering my clothes and said ""you have to come back at 4pm to see the owner"". She said she is the counter manager. She was abusive, unprofessional and apparently had been eating chicken, since her fingers were greasy and with residue of white meat on them. I asked her not to touch my clothes with dirty hands. We went back and forth about the price and she suddenly grabbed the hangers and pulled the clothes from under my hands saying ""you come back at 4pm and talk to the owner"". I reached for my clothes and pulled them back. I told her I was going to pay but needed the price I was quoted and that the owner had ignored me already. She asked the young lady that first spoke to me to call the police and tell them there was an aggressive client. She continued to provoke me and threatened me with the police coming to get me. I told her I would go to the media. I needed the clothes and just paid. However, I did wait for the police, as she had really humiliated me. When I saw a police officer near-by I called him over and told him what had happened. Both Ms. Leon and the lady that had taken in my clothes the previous week and given me the pink slips left the counter and went out of sight inside the laundry. The policeman told me he could not write a case on this situation. By the way, when I got home I realized that the receipts on the hangers add up to $92 and change and they charged me $97 and change.Thus, I am doing whaterver possible to warn others about these thieves. God knows how many people have been taken by ""Mark's"" staff and owners modus operandum and have done nothing about it.\r\n

I took a 200 D&G shirt in perfect condition, it was returned to me with two holes, I confronted the manager Rene and got nowhere, then spoke to the owner Mark, who was rude and kurtly denied their wrong doing, and after I threatened to sued them he agreed to paid 100$. I will never go there again and if you are smart you wont either!

This place is the not worthy of ANY business. First off, they charge based on the LABEL! My Dolce & Gabana suits, shirts and pants cost more than Hugo Boss (for example). They delivered my dry cleaning to the wrong apartment. Mark's Cleaners refused to take responsibility. After weeks of going back and forth, Mark (the old hags husband) went to Neiman Marcus Last Call, and tried to replace my $500.00 apiece Prada shirts with $99.00 dress shirts. the wife, (old lady) is the rudest person I've ever met who belittles her staff in front of customers. I made the mistake by telling her she shouldn't treat people so rudely and she went off on me. Now what kind of business are they running when they talk back to customers?\r\n\r\nSeriously, there are far better dry cleaners on the beach. Save your $$ and do not patronize this place!

I called Marks Cleaners and not only was the person rude when answering the phone call when asked about the prices I was told I would have to come into the store and see their prices listed on the wall. I even asked if they can give me some prices over the phone based on the item that I would like to dry clean and I was told that if I wanted to shop around for prices to go somewhere else. I was rudley treated and was hung up on. I do not recommned this cleaners to ANY ONE!!!! If their customer service is horrible imagine what they will do to your clothes.

I brought two Armani suits and many expensive shirts to Mark's Quality Cleaners. Mark's returned the two suits and many expensive shirts damaged and shrunk. Mark himself sent the suits to the International Textile Analysis Laboratory to prove the suits did not shrink through analysis. The Laboratory report stated, ""No restoration is possible. The excessive shrinkage of this suit was caused by a mishap in the cleaning procedure at some point in time.""\r\n\r\nThis follows his wife claiming that I was a new customer trying to get money from them because I was gaining weight and could not fit into my clothes. I had been using Mark's for more than five years and have been losing weight. The clothes were damaged to the extent that many sleeves did not cover my forearms. His wife also claims that Marks never damaged nor shrunk any clothes since the business started. Conversations with random acquaintances have led me to find many others who have had issues with Mark's.\r\n\r\nMark's does not want to pay to replace the suits nor the shirts. Meanwhile, Mark and his staff have mentioned that Mark has been vacationing twice (at least one time traveling outside the country) and his wife drives a new Lexus (very sporty and expensive). His wife also told me on many occasions that Marks prefers to only service rich consumers who live in luxury buildings.\r\n\r\nDamaged and shrunk clothes, rude service, and other issues - Consumers Beware!!!!

I'm in the process of trying to find a cleaner in Miami Beach to steam a dress for an upcoming event. I had asked about the possibility of having a dress steamed the same day as my arrival to Florida. I understand if this is unrealistic, but the owner was short talking and nasty over the phone, saying ""whatever"" to me about the difference between a ""question or a comment"". I also requested the shirts to be hand finished and not starched. Obviously willing to spend more $$...I got the shirts back STARCHED and not at all hand finished. This happened to me 3 times in a row and when I got clearly upset about it, the owner who was on the premises pretended not to hear the whole thing and did not even say a WORD. When I spoke to her on the phone, she was extremely disrespectful and belitteling. No more Marks.
