Zoo is Closed!!! After facing fines for animal health violations, and experiencing a decline in attendance due to competition from larger area Theme Parks, the Zoo officially shut down. The Gator Motel remains open and the signature Alligator Sculpture remains in the parking lot. Most animals in the zoo were moved to other animal attractions. The main building remains vacant.

My family and I never get tired of going to this zoo. It is a wonderful day out. There are large viewing areas for all the animals, especially the giraffes! There are a couple of eating facilities as well as gift shops. Membership is a great idea. Besides getting 10% off at the gift shops they offer a reciprical program where you can get reduced or free admission at other zoos across the country. We have taken advantage of this many times. There is also plenty of parking.

The Jungleland Zoo continues to expand to its already impressive development. However, if your family likes to take trips to this zoo, the best thing to do is to purchase the membership package. This will save you a lot of money if you plan to visit the zoo more than twice in the year. They even have special events for members only.

it's a fun place to take the kids they have a lot to see and the kids have fun beeing outdoors.it's niver to go when the wetter is a bit cooler.you see more wildlive.
