Whitehouse Inn On The Bay

to many hookers and pimps there.it use to be quiet..not ne more.i hate the whitehouse its now the whorehouse..not for family at all.u cant chillax there.the police in and out like the pimps and hoes .kids there but they still "making money" it seems like an apt building in the hood .but worse..they need to make sure the linens are cleaned i should not! have to hold a towel to the light to make sure its clean..i use too stay alot..but damn i cant do it no more.."White house step yo game up"....11/6/2009...

This Hotel happens to be wonderful, I was their the day of these 2 scam artist! I had a feeling neg post would be left! As a whitehouse in customer of 3 years. These 2 scammers left their lugage in a cab, then tried to blaim it that someone at the hotel went into their room and took it! Please ! then When i was checking out it took for ever because they were demanding money back from the poor front desk lady who had no clue about their scam! watch out! Scam arttist like this and scams like this happen every day! but the whitehouse inn is still the best despite what type of characters check in!

My mom and my sister arrived in the wee hours of the morning due to a late flight. They went right to sleep and woke up to find their luggage was gone. So someone went into their room during the night and stole their belongings. How could this happen? My sister is starting school in a couple of days and has nothing. The police and management says there is nothing they can do. This place looks like the ritz on the website compared to what you get when you get there. The floors haven't been cleaned in years and there are brown spots everywhere. Please don't stay here and be a victim of this establishment. You will regret it!!!

I am from N. Florida and come into town to visit family often. I have stayed at the White House 3 times for 3-5 days at a time and have found each time a pleasurable experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful. That makes me very happy.

The rooms are nice and the view of the water couldn't be more romantic at night. Prices for rooms on the water are usually not this cheap, but I always book in advance and have never had a problem. The Room was cleaned to a Very High Standard and serviced "Properly" each day with fresh laundry--a huge plus in my book!!!

The Staff (without exception) were very Friendly and efficient, the hotel well Managed and cared for--I would never consider staying anywhere else in Miami---Do go!!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE< YEA I SEE SOME NASTY REVIEWS, BUT THE PLACE HAS CHANGED. AFTER A YEAR AGO OR SO NEW OWNERS TOOK OVER, AND RE DID THIS PLACE AND ARE STILL PUTTING MAJOR BUX INTO THIS GEM! I LOVE THE PLACE BECAUSE ITS PEACEFUL! THE ROOMS ARE LARGE, AND NOW VERY NICE SINCE THEY HAVE BEEN REMODELED ON THE BAY SIDE WING! ALSO VERY SAFE AREA, OFFICE OPEN 24 7 WILLING TO HELP YOU WITH ANY THING YOU ASK. THEIR RATES KILL THE MARKET! NOT TO MENTION THE PLACE IS VERY VERY CLEAN. I come into town three times out of year on business and stay for 2 weeks at a time, and have been staying at the WhiteHouse Inn for over 9 years. I must say ever since the turnover of new ownership/management the Whitehouse Inn keeps upgrading, and almost everytime I check in the place keeps getting nicer and nicer. So I look foward each time I check in! The General Manager is very sweet, and will go out on the limb to accomodate everyone the best he can when is around. The main attraction and what I enjoy is being able to come and relax in a very clean nice spacious room, with a spectacular view and the smell of sea breeze while I sleep with my patio door open. The place is very safe because its in a nice area that borders Bal harbour, and Keystone. It's also funny that the Whitehouse is always packed and is so peacefull. I consider this place my little hide away for peace and tranquility.

PS The room rates are great, it makes you stay longer

I stayed there for 5 days. Couldn't sleep under the covers. Bedspreads and blankets full of holes. Very dirty floors and the last day a giant cockroach appeared on the ceiling. Would not unpack my clothes from suitcase for fear of bugs. When I complained, the Inn offered me an upgrade at an addition $34.95 a night. Not very happy. The view of the bay was fantastic, but that was the only thing positive. Would not stay here again

This hotel or Inn is located in North Miami. It is just over the bridge from Bay Harbor Islands and only a few miles from the beach.
I became familiar with this hotel when I was looking for a place for my parents to stay when they come to visit me. I live in Bay Harbor Islands. Many of the hotels in Bay Harbor or in Surfside were overpriced or booked. I went to this hotel and was very pleased. The rooms were nice size with two beds and a refrigerator. There are rooms that are on the canal and the best part is that the price was very reasonable. My parents have stayed there on several occasions and never had a problem or a complaint.
